Ok got it thanks. Drag from the MW box to the Mod Matrix Amount with LFO set to Osc Tune gives Vibrato.
How would one do the same for Aftertouch ? I don't see an AT box like there is for MW. An "LFO Amount" Mod destination would solve the problem.
This? Bottom Right.
Yes thanks Thomas beat you to it.....

Nope, at least me and two other people.

I'd still like to see a tutorial on the Text to Speech or Text to Wavetable function. I think that's one feature that will set Vital apart from other synths in my folder.

Doesn'T work for me too (with none of my ASIO drivers).

Yeah it doesn't show Asio for me. I am going to assume that is by design.

So, some questions I couldn't get an answer for so far:
- Can one make a LFO freerunning?
- How do you un-select a preset folder in the browser? As soon as I select one, I can't find a way to go back to all presets...?
- I couldn't find a way to use other CCs than the ones that have a button? I do not want to Midi-Learn them since that seems to be global. I can use Bitwig for it, but that again is not per Vital preset. I'm looking especially for CC2 for my wind controller but some custom CC modulators would be good to have in the matrix.

Any ideas?

Cheers,

Tom

I think no I do not like Serum sound, very much too cold. But after watching tutorial videos I learn Serum can be VERY good sounding instrument (you can make brass sound, you can make super saw, you can make old school house bass, you can make plucks etc etc).

So is Vital same way? You first think "very cold sound" but in reality it can make much more different sounds? I think in many places it is said Vital is update version to Serum that why I say the comprision to Serum.
I am not sound designer so I wait for tutorial videos I can learn.
Anyone know this?
And can you import this Virus Ti waves you can download from internet (they can use in Serum, can in Vital)?

I have a question. Is the first Amp Envelope hardwired to oscillators? (Just like in Pigments)

I see what you're saying. If I close the GUI and then reopen it the Browser goes back to All Presets. That's in Cakewalk and FL Studio.

I don't think that's an optimal workaround. Maybe just an oversight ?

Yes it appears Env 1 is hardwired to all three Oscs and the Sample playback Osc.

Yeah I noticed the same thing when I was favouriting them last night...I had to close the preset browser and open it up again.

I answered the first one a few pages ago, before you even asked.
Anyway to recap, imho. It can do Cold and Digital like Serum, but it can do warmer and analog more so than Serum.

To your second question.
yes

I am trying to install it, it downloads all the sound banks, but then it takes ages to install them (been doing that for half an hour) and never finishes.
If I close it, no presets have been installed... (I am on Mac, maybe some kind of permission issue??)

[EDIT]Nevermind: changing the default install path did the trick. I think Vitals doesn't have permission to write in the default folder (Documents folder, I believe)

Oh well, I put so much hopes on fully modular envelopes in Vital. Ok, will wait for Zebra 3 then.
