I want to change my username. I tried to reach Ben but never got an answer. I tried a couple of times and waited over a year. However, now I think I will retire this account and start with a fresh identity. I do not care about my feedback's in the sell&buy thread as I do not want to buy more. But I'm scared that I will get banned by a mod when opening a second account. Is this fear substantiated ? If so, how to avoid that?

ask a mod to ban the current account, tell them you have a new one and give them the name

Or... ask another mod to change your user name. Someone must have the ability to do so.

Its been stated multiple times by moderators that only Ben can do this.
