Zampler has been around for a while. It's magware from a German magazine called Beat. They often give away an expansion (and other software) with a copy of the magazine. The Zampler plug-in (with no expansions) is free -- you can find it online.

The expansions are in SFZ format (with WAV files) and almost entirely synth sounds.

I do want to give Pulsar my money because they are smaller and up and comer.. but the realty is, the Arturia deal fulfills GAS syndrome much better. It's about $6 per plugin with the current deal. Darn it!!

I’m in the UK and Factory and Looperator were free on my iPad earlier. I got Aparillo for free ages ago and if they were right about Drum Computer being free I’ll be mildly ticked off as I bought it at its supposed intro price a week ago.

Drumcomputer is free on the Italy App store but it has 29,99€ IAP for the full version. Not sure how it was before
