Project folders

You can select open new project and when the window opens for you to select a folder you can create a new folder.
Or, use windows explorer to open the poject folder and create the new folder. Then in Tracktion select open a project and the folder will be there for you to select.

hmm yeah, i meant how all your projects appear under the "active projects" folder, i wanted to create additional folders over there on the left when you open tracktion up, man so simple yet i feel im still not even explaining it right haha

question:
are project folders meant to be for say a collection of songs for an album perhaps? or is it meant for like a single song? I know this is a really dumb question but i really want to know it's meaning.. Thanks

That's actually not a bad question--
I can't imagine having only one folder for an entire album; however, that pane is going to get mighty cluttered once my list of projects grows larger!

Right now I have 153 folders in the project window. Luckily I number them sequentially. Whats cool about the project window is that I can look at the files within each song really fast. So I jump from folder to folder and hear which song it is before I open it. I also like the search box. Hopefully there will be more structure possibilities in T2 tho.
