Only inside the ShaperBox UI. But you can for example choose to always open with VolumeShaper ducking preset or compressor, TimeShaper stutter or scratch, .. or since v2.2 with your own favourite preset (see https://www.cableguys.com/whats-new-in- ... x-2-2.html and scroll down to "Set your own startup preset").

Jakob / Cableguys wrote: Wed Nov 18, 2020 5:03 pm Some more info on that: Our ShaperBox UI is slowest in Cubase, definitely (on some computers.. it can work perfectly on others). We're not using OpenGL on Windows (we do on macOS). That's because we had quite some issues with OpenGL with some DAWs.

We had been in the middle of working on it, but then decided to first work on Big Sur compatibility for Curve, FilterShaper, MidiShaper and Kickstart - they kinda work, but not perfectly (ShaperBox and HalfTime are all fine, and the others will be too in a bit..), as well as work on native Mac Silicon / ARM / M1 support. Well, Apple can really keep you busy..
Thanks for the info :tu: Now i've got one more reason to hate Apple :D ... bloody hipster OS :x

100% sure you can.
I have it on my mac and pc.
They may even allow 3 licenses, don't recall, but definitely 2.

I think there's no Shaperbox wrapper GUI in this case...

Red face edit: the official (Cable)guys disproved me :)

It's the second option: VolumeShaper runs inside ShaperBox, and you can only run the other Shapers in Demo Mode.

And if you only want to use VolumeShaper, you can set ShaperBox to always launch with VolumeShaper loaded (empty, or with your favourite sidechain preset), so it won't take any extra clicks to set up.

I remember when that wasn't possible (I hated ShaperBox V1 with passion). But now I  V2.

Still not compatible with Protools, making it unusable as post prod/mixing tools for most people.

Hi everyone,

We just launched a new ShaperBox tutorial! In this 10-minute masterclass, Joe at Cableguys explains and demonstrates every feature of ShaperBox 2's powerful LFO waveform editing system.

You’ll learn how to:
  • Draw fluidly with Pens
  • Shape waveforms directly with the Pointer
  • Work with the right-click menu
  • Skew, lock and shape selections with hotkeys
  • Smooth out clicks and pops
  • Use shortcuts to speed your workflow
…And more.

If you've ever wanted to go beyond presets and take full control of your music’s flow and movement – well, this one's for you! 🖍😊

Thanks!

Time for a new reverb or pitch shaper to be unleashed? :)
