Plugin preset selection crash

I've run into a rather problematic issue when selecting presets from specific VST's. As i click on the preset tab to bring down the drop menu, the system starts to lag and the plugin(s) proceed to eat up all of my memory. Eventually the plugin will crash and the sandbox will disable itself forcing me to restart it.

So far it has happened on the following plugins:

- BPB Cassette 606/808/909
- Beatfactory
- Drumpro
- Drumtroop

Strange that they're all drum machines. It could just be that they're poorly made, but they used to work on Tracktion 7 with no issues.

They are all 64 bit plugins running on Windows 10 using Waveform 11.1.0

Is there any settings i can tweak to potentially fix this, or is it a matter of moving on to other stable plugins?
