so this morning I thought I'd look at the price of the upgrade for Bitwig on Bitwig.com. The login details I had didn't work. I reset my password. The new password didn't work.
Opened Bitwig. Login details removed and it's in demo mode. Managed to put the login details plus new password and it's now out of demo mode but asking for the serial number. Unfortunately I don't have the serial written done because it's in my account on Bitwig.com..which I can't access.
I'm sending it in to Bitwig now but I'm wondering if this is just me.
Update> Reply from Bitwig.
Thanks for your email. Could you please try using a different browser and log in?
Please also try the following:
Windows:
1 Open a windows explorer and go to the following folder:
C:\Users\[username]\App Data\Local\Bitwig Studio
2 Find and delete any files called .activation-1-1 or with other numbers
3 Restart Bitwig Studio
macOS:
1 Open a Finder window and go to the following folder:
[username]/Library/Application Support/Bitwig/Bitwig Studio
2 Find and delete any files called .activation-1-1 or with other numbers
3 Restart Bitwig Studio
Note that the activation file is a hidden file. Here are articles that describe how to show hidden files in your operating system:

Windows: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/hel ... windows-10

Thanks for sharing - never rely on internet resources, write down your serial and keep it local... I guess support will resolve it for you...

hi, yes, I had it on my list of serials to look up as I'm preparing to shift to a new PC, but hadn't got around to it.

I'm locked out of Bitwig's site too. Have also done password reset, but still cannot log in. Pretty frustrating, but I'm sure they'll get it sorted next week during office hours.

Just as an addition to this, I can log in fine with Chrome, but can't log in with Firefox. @ChamomileShark, it might be worth you trying a different browser.
