Any Izotope users switch to Melda?

Like I've said in earlier posts, mix revolution will be a perfect way to streamline modules for mixing mastering and vocal work.
I'm curious if anyone who uses Ozone, Neutron or Nectar has found them selves switching to Melda plugins. I'm currently using both to see which works better, I just find the Izotope all encompassing one screen GUI great for flipping between modules, but I think maybe a Melda version of mixing or mastering or vocal strip could cause a well needed upset.

Same here. I've left already Neutron behind. Next step will be to switch from Nectar to Melda plugins and later to replace Ozone as well. See my last post here: viewtopic.php?f=138&t=553560&start=15

I use both happily. I don't see a need to "switch," rather use whichever tool feels like it would best serve the material.

Melda plugins are more complex and offer more possibilities. The more I work with them, the less I use Izotope. It's more like a natural progress and not a choice... But I agree, that one should use, what one likes or what "feels" better.Starship Krupa wrote: Wed Nov 11, 2020 1:26 am I use both happily. Izotope charges for upgrades. They "hide" features like DynamicEQ and make it hard to access. Melda is more feature rich by far. I like Ozone for the mastering stage although I end up "turning it down" quite a bit. I like tonal balance. I like the relay panner interface but I don't use it because it messes up the DAW panning. VocalSynth crashed on Catalina and support replied "no it works". In the end, learning Melda is knowledge that is reusable across their entire suite which is a powerful concept that no other plugin developers seem to have matched.

Melda new focus on presets is timely. I think building up Melda presets is critical. However, still being able to hit "Edit" is amazing.
I find all your plugins extremely educational. Knowledge that can be reused and reapplied.
Great stuff!

It's still missing a giant middle window, like the izotope plugins have

I don’t think this will happen, but who knows. Izotope appeals more tidy and mxxx cluttered in some way, but the components are already there. You have to open up the single plugins inside mxxx by using the shift button. This opens up the single instances.
