Hi,
just to keep understanding how to approach ambisonics with MeldaProduction plug-ins, I just tried to add a MconvolutionEZ, set to Ambisonics and had a go pointing to my TOA IRs but with no spatial results.
Is there any specific settings I have to look for, or it's still managing only stereo IRs?

Many thanks.

I know next to nothing about ambisonics, but it looks fascinating.
Anyway,
MConvolutionEZ can only handle stereo IRs.
MConvolutionMB can handle quad files (or two stereo files) to get true stereo.
How many channels does the ambisonic thing need?

Hi!
Well, do you have an ambisonics IR? The plugin should load all channels of the IR, but only a single file. So of course, if there are not enough channels, then you are out of luck.

I am setting up a TOA track for it, 16channels. I then select my TOA IR, which looks like its loading, but when playing back, only 1&4 channels work. Also the meters show only 4channels instead of 16 but I think that a practical thing, or is there anything I am missing to set up?
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Hmmm, please send me the IR to info@meldaproduction.com, and let's continue there.

Any chance you can share the source of the IRs?

Thanks

Hi,
I have tried with several IRs formats and it seems to work like the other plugins : it doesn't take into account the ambisonics orders and just duplicates the available IR channels up to the number that has been selected.
It is excellent for multichannel processing but doesn't work with ambisonics.
