I just bought it, so I don't have any favorites yet, but I'm happy that the test didn't wipe out yours
I did a full re-install, and the problem still persists. I'm curious if your shop page (inside the plugin) also says that the expansions are for SM1 only.
I'm running the plugin with Wine on Linux, so that could be a reason why it doesn't work. But the descriptions in the shop wouldn't change because of Linux.
Edit: Yes, I'm using the Beta, but I only tried that because the normal version didn't work either.

Lol. I am very OCD/AR so I backup everything in several locations
I didn't even know Synthmaster did Linux stuff (I actually don't even see a Linux build in my user area)
Ok it is clearly a synthmaster 2 expansion so that is a typo.
So you can ignore what is written there.
So it doesn't show up in your SM2 browser like it does in mine?

I forgot to answer your question from the previous post. After I click "Restore my expansions", I get a pop up with the message: "None of the preset banks were downloaded and/or installed"

No, no special firewall and it shows up in my browser. I managed to install it with SynthMasterPlayer and I liked it very much, so I upgraded.
Linux isn't officially supported, but there's software that allows you to run Windows software on Linux. But there are sometimes problems like in this case. I guess I'll wait for the official 2.9.9 release and see if that fixes it.
Thanks for helping me to narrow down the problem with your tests

OK installed it but the browser is still a buggy mess - trying to click on the online presets just brings up error messages eg ';Error getting access token from the cloud!' and trying to click on restore expansions brings up another error window that just says '! Synthmaster 2.9' - and the few remaining expansions I don't have still won't download (eg Japan's vintage - which by the way is also listed in the browser as a Synthmaster One expansion - which is incorrect). Please make it possible to download these and install them manually like we used to be able to do - the online browser system is just not working properly.

If you write me your email address from PM I will check it.aMUSEd wrote: Sun Aug 23, 2020 8:26 amI can only see it 'for sale' not in downloadable content as well. Also the same for Mike Kastrups second expansion, I only have the first (which is confusingly labelled as MK expansion 2 though in the browser)
