MSpectralDynamics EQ

I've used MSpectralDynamics, fabulous stuff, but I've never gotten the EQ section.
I mean the premise is simple, it's a freeform EQ for the direct signal, but I've always wondered why it didn't have options where it instead EQ the sidechain signal? Maybe also a toggle for internal sidechain (duplicate direct signal) while we are at it?
The reason I ask for these options is that
A) Prevent messing with captured threshold
B) Another point for modulation
C) The EQ actually get useful?
It's mainly a Quality of Life modification, since I already have the complete bundle, so MXXX is right there. I also imagine that the internal routing won't be too difficult, a few toggle and what-not.
Happy thanks giving everyone, take care and stay safe!

It does.
Just set the Detector Input to "Side-chain".
Try this:
-- without any audio on the Input,
-- send some audio to the side-chain,
-- switch the Detector Input between "Input" and "Side-chain",
-- warch the EQ graph

Thanks, but try this instead:
-- without any audio on the side-chain
-- send direct audio
-- switch the Detector input to "Side-chain"
-- Hear that the audio get modified by the EQ
The behavior for the EQ to affect the direct audio is what I'm trying to avoid,
1) I've got many EQs to use pre/post MSpectralDynamics if that's what I'm after
2) Want other way/s to affect the compression, without playing with captured threshold

Confirmed. I'm confused.
I wonder why the Side-chain audio shows up in the EQ graph when the Detector is set to side-chain.
PS, you may know this, but you can Collapse the Processing Shape graph to give a taller EQ graph. Or vice versa.
