How to assign OUTPUT MIDI CHANNEL to a Waveform 11 PRO MIDI track ?

Hi there Tracktion / Waveform users.

Here is my problem : I can assign any enabled, valid output MIDI port to the output port of any of my Waveform MIDI tracks (for instance to play them on external hardware synths).

However I don't see how to explicitely assign the output MIDI channel of these Waveform MIDI tracks, so to assign these MIDI tracks to different parts of my multitimbral external synths.

I read the full doc and apart from what Waveform calls "Step clips", which is NOT what I'm doing/using, I DID NOT SEE anywhere how to do what I consider as a mandatory basic feature.

I cannot believe this is not possible...

Any help most appreciated,

Thanks,

MIDI channel is part of the CLIP properties, not track.

Sorry for the mis-jargon, (I'm just new to Tracktion).
ok : Track is the container, and clip the content.

So I meant : CLIP
So the initial question remains : how to explicitely assign a MIDI clip a MIDI output channel ?

Highlight the clip, and you should see clip properties at the bottom. Center, top of that panel.

(Note - if you have the compact mode, hit the up arrow lower left.  Gives you LOTS of useful information, and IMHO, should be default view).

Great. There is indeed a "MIDI channel" property attached to the MIDI clip properties, which I had totally missed.
In the midtime, I had found another solution by means of attaching a MIDI patchbay plugin to the TRACK, that would apply to all the MIDI clips within the track, kind of "local clip" vs "global track" property.
Thanks,
Cheers.
