My pleasure, but it's far from finished yet

Well.... this took me by surprise! I've been testing out Neural DSP plugins all week, and not really bonding with anything (I do have the Cory Wong, which is more my style).
Loaded up MTurboAmp was instantly getting very usable tones. The Random button on the 'Emphasis' panel was like a magic button - instantly changing the character of the amp. Really, everything on the simple screen worked really well and gave me lots of control. The 'Distortion' section in the Edit screen freaked me out a bit
I might leave that one to the expert preset makers.
Looking forward to the next steps!

I'm also getting good results using the modulators and input follower to dynamically modify settings based on my guitar input volume. I don't remember seeing any presets for other Melda plugins that have modulators on by default, but this seems like it should be a default for presets in MTurboAmp in order to better simulate the dynamic behaviour of guitar amps (based on how hard the input is driven). I also think internal compression would be a good addition.
If there would also be a way to simulate an effects loop, so we can insert something like MTremoloMB prior to the final power amp stages, then we'd really be cooking!
Based on the competition, there seems to be a liking for the skeuomorphic design - so maybe the MSF like UI options would work really well with this.

I know I annoyed you guys for several years over this but I am telling you this is absolutely worth it...
Vojtech is the best programmer alive and with mxxx we can take this thing to new heights....
Unlimited amp simulations, gunna be great

We definitely need to be able to dial in high Gain amp tones...like I've been saying this thing could replace the ax effects no problem

Thank you folks!
Btw. if any of you is a guitar AMP junkie and would like to collaborate on the device making, there's definitely a paid opportunity
. I need to start it soon!
For now, any "system changes" you'd like on the Wilderbeast? (it should be kinda a template for other "generalized" amps) Adding/removing something...

Perhaps a button next to the Random titled "Reset" that would restore default settings.
Under the hood, I would think that making series/ parallel routing in the Distortion stages could yield some very exciting results.
For example - from Stage one (the beginning of the Series chain) process Stage two and
Stage three in parallel and then finish up the series chain by merging two and three through Stage four.

I messaged you on Facebook and have people messaging you right now
AcmeBarGig wants to help. Their program has 1800 guitar amp heads and 800 tube curves.

Good call. Guitar amp designers need to know about tube curves, gain stages, negative feedback, sag, bias etc. It's a big thing.Underoath77 wrote: Mon Nov 30, 2020 1:07 am I messaged you on Facebook and have people messaging you right now

For real. I took one look and was like, "Yeah..." Looking forward to good amps. This, coupled with MCabinet, sounds totally different than S-Gear.

the amp does it by itself, without any modulations. if MTurboAmp can't do it on its own, then it's not properly emulating an amp, is it?R13 wrote: Sat Nov 28, 2020 1:05 am I don't remember seeing any presets for other Melda plugins that have modulators on by default, but this seems like it should be a default for presets in MTurboAmp in order to better simulate the dynamic behaviour of guitar amps (based on how hard the input is driven).
I don't know what to write here that won't be censored, as I can only speak in profanity.

That was my thing, I figured a guy who knew what he was doing would be a great help to Vojtech.
