Scrolling in midi editor

Hi there,
I’ve been using Waveform for quite some time now, but I cannot get scrolling to work in the midi editor. The screen isn’t updated when the cursor is at the end of the displayed measures and just disappears.
Is this possible in Waveform and if so yes, how?
If not, can this be added to the feature requests?
Thanks and greetings, Mixnar

Do you mean where you have a note and then click and drag it to the edge of the screen and you then expect it to scroll?
Or is this when you put a note outside of the clip range as confusingly it hides that notes but doesn't display it but it is there?

Are you scrolling with the arrow keys? If so, I think this was fixed in a recent beta. If the midi editor has focus and you scroll with arrow keys it'll update view to keep cursor on screen.

What I mean is that when you press play and the cursor starts scrolling from left to the end of the bars that are in focus (in the midi editor), the cursor just disappears and doesn’t start again at the left side with the following bars in focus. So you can’t follow the complete midi clip and have to scroll manually or zoom out. It would be easier if this could be automated (like in many other daw’s).

To be clear, this is only the case in the (floating) midi editor, when you've double clicked on a midi clip! The bars shown in the editor are not in sync when the song is being played. Anyone knows how to change this behavoiur?
Thanks!
Thanks!

If you have one of the later betas, there is a lock in the lower right of the midi editor that will lock the two timelines together.

Well that's promising! Unfortunately I havn't upgraded to version 11 though. Still have some testing to do with midi recording.
Recorded midi notes have different placement data (bottom of screen) then shown in the midi editor, see picture below. They can't be quantised, then they're all off. Waveform doesn't seem to know what the correct timestamp is.
Does anyone have an idea about what happens here?

I haven't seen that before. Can you share an archive of the edit with me at roland@tracktion.com and I'll take a quick look.
