Blaster wrote: Mon Nov 30, 2020 9:23 am The Liquidsonics discount is not mentioned on the control-room.net website. Is it still available?
Yes, it is. I believe it will be active until the end of the sale. I took all the Liquidsonics reverbs yesterday in the evening. I still can't believe that :)

So... Do I understand it right:
I got to https://www.control-room.net/
The I click on "Join now" and I will be informed that "Control Room is just £5.50 p/month! Cancel at any time"
Then I have to sign in via Facebook
And what happens then?
Sorry for the questions but maybe you can clarify it even more... :phones:
I'm interested in that Liquidsonics voucher... ;-)
So I just went ahead with this. It's a paid facebook group, so you pay £2 and then you can request to be a member of the group (which is a subscription). They will add you and there you have the codes etc. Someone has been leaking codes outside of the group so they changed it. Place a comment on the post and the mod will dm you the code. Just got the 7th Heaven for €30. It's a steal for that money :)

I do have to mention they don't like it if people sign up just for the discount code and cancelling right after. It's a community so check if you are interested in what it has to offer.
Look at it from another angle and they probably have a whole bunch of people joining - even if it’s only for the coupon - who might never have joined and then cancel. That still adds up to an increase in income they might never have received.
In a perfect world.... But hey!

Are Sir Audio sales rare, or do they just rarely get posted here or widely publicized? There was a 25% sale last summer... but I found a post elsewhere from January 2020 mentioning StandardClip as a BF purchase. Do they usually do BF sales?...

I was surprised to see IR1 and a lot of other popular Waves plugins among the list of 2 "free" selections with purchase of any 2 plugins. Much better than their usual.

Speaking of I.Rs. I glanced a pack posted in the "no chat" thread in the last 24 hours. Unless I'm imagining things, it seems to have disappeared. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? I just wanted to have better look.

Not sure, but here are 2 IR deals I remember seeing...

No, that's not it. It was about $50 and it was rooms (rather than cabs) divided into about 10 categories.

That's the one. Thanks. I just wanted to have a better read about it. I swear it was in the "No chat, sales" thread... Maybe I saw it somewhere else. :dog:

strange pricing of eventide. for a BF sale, but indeed, like softube, there are sales that are better. BF sales aren't always the best.
I'm interested in blackhole, how/where did you see it for $24?
i wasn't clear, me thinks, i bought it almost 2 years ago via jrrshop, for around $24...

I saw on Everyplugin a few Waves plugins going for as low $17 so if you bought say a $17 and a $23 that ends up being 4 plugins at $10 each. I chose carefully and for two $26 ones I end up with 4 quality plugins I wanted for $13 each. Very impressive and no catches it seems.
Waves V11 and V12 don't work under Win 8.1 and since I don't want to lose more precious time digging through their maze of FAQs on how to activate older versions, make them live together or god forbid messing with CentraI they've lost me as a customer.

Hey, loads of other companies can give us pain & nag free installing and upgrade experiences these days, why can't Waves???

Post

I bought and registered 2 Waves plugins yesterday but still no mail about the free picks. The Waves peeps are probably very busy but I would've thought this was an automated thing and I had expected the mail to come within a minute or so. :?

I just got a new computer and reinstalled everything. Waves was the easiest.

No sure what you want to know, but from their Fb I see that they also had sales for Valentine's Day at 30% off, in April at 25% off, for BF 2018 at 30% off.

You probably know this already, but for this BF they have the 50% off (I don't remember such a deep discount before) on SIR3 and bundles containing it, and for the first time it can be combined with the extra 25% off from the newsletter subscription.

Ah, I just found this info now:

"If you shop through a certified Waves dealer... One day after the promotion ends, you will receive an email with a link to a web page...".

Patience is a virtue they say.
