The Waves Cyber Monday deal is a steal, its particularly good for a Waves sale, buy any 2 plugins and get any 2 from a long list. I saw on Everyplugin a few Waves plugins going for as low $17 so if you bought say a $17 and a $23 that ends up being 4 plugins at $10 each. I chose carefully and for two $26 ones I end up with 4 quality plugins I wanted for $13 each. Very impressive and no catches it seems.

Waves V11 and V12 don't work under Win 8.1 and since I don't want to lose more precious time digging through their maze of FAQs on how to activate older versions, make them live together or god forbid messing with CentraI they've lost me as a customer.

Hey, loads of other companies can give us pain & nag free installing and upgrade experiences these days, why can't Waves???

I just got a new computer and reinstalled everything. Waves was the easiest.

Yeah I have found Waves super easy and bug free on my current system, I have plugins from V9-12, I guess if you're on an older OS/Win 7 or 8.1 you may have a lot of work getting everything working. Some companies make their plugins compatible while others are leaving old tech behind.
If you haven't had issues with Waves this current deal is their best in a very long time.

I bought and registered 2 Waves plugins yesterday but still no mail about the free picks. The Waves peeps are probably very busy but I would've thought this was an automated thing and I had expected the mail to come within a minute or so.

Ah, I just found this info now:

"If you shop through a certified Waves dealer... One day after the promotion ends, you will receive an email with a link to a web page...".

Patience is a virtue they say.

They extended the promotion by one day, so it might be tomorrow. (Hopefully they won't keep extending the promotion and delaying the email....)

Just seen an email from Korg extending their sale for another month. I don't think they've worked out yet that Triton is stupidly overpriced and the upgrade price for people with the rest of the collection pretty unappealing.

I Have the Korg Collection - Special Bundle (with the ARP Odyssey)
When I log into "My Korg-ID" and I click on "Your Products / Downloads / Offers" there is a coupon code with the hint
"Fill this code at korg.shop to get TRITON at the special price".
And below there is a button "Get Triton".
OK, when I click on it, it leads me directly to the Korg-Shop-Page with the Triton for $149.
Ok, I add it to the cart and then I have the possibility to type in the coupon code.
And yes, a message pops up: "Coupon code xxxx-xxxxxx_xxxxxxxxxxx was applied".
But the price still remains at $149...
And do you know what's the biggest mockery?
I have all plugins except Triton and would have to pay $149. For one plugin!
But: people who have only the Korg M1 Le pay only $199 to get all the rest including Triton!
I find that very brazen...

I bought Wavestation as my first Korg plugin earlier this year and was interested in buying some more Korg plugins, but quickly realized all this pricing non-sense. Customer support did not help either when I asked about this ridiculous pricing. Glad I did not buy anything else.

United Plugins was making a Black Friday sale for the (pretty good but highly priced) Royal Compressor (if I remember right) and now in December it's free with every purchase at Plugin Boutique!

(Good that I didn't buy it at Black Friday but Hyperspace instead.)

Agree about the Korg pricing on Triton VST. It's great that a new user can get the whole collection for $199 but a little more recognition for those of us who've been on board since the original "legacy collection" would go a long way. I'm certainly never going to pay $149 for it. $49 and I might do it - if only to complete the collection.
