What would I want for Xmas hmmmmm ....
-Mixrevolution to have an amazing name. Like
MZZZ
-Melda to partner with an amp sim designer
-Easy way to add images/GUIs/custom controls into MXXX/MSF like Kontakt
-A new control type(xy pad, knob, button)
-Device mode to all plugins
-Multiband for all plugins
-customizable( arpeggiator/looper like mdrummer)
for Msoundfactory
-MResonance Suppressor
-MPitcheditor
-MFullAutotune
-Vojtech to live for another 50 years...
-MSF to start gaining traction against Kontakt
-Mixrevolution to defeat Izotope, so I can sell it lol
Call me greedy lol. But that's why it's called a wish and not a need. What I NEED to do is get back to that sweet Mdrumreplacer....

Tbh I didn't work with Kontakt GUI development for a long time, but back then it was everything else than "an easy way", haha.Underoath77 wrote: Wed Dec 02, 2020 2:04 am -Easy way to add images/GUIs/custom controls into MXXX/MSF like Kontakt
But nevertheless: you know that there is the cutsom GUI editor already in MSF and MXXX?
They are already there. Somehow I assume that I got you wrong ... what exactly is this wish about?
I guess that would not make sense. Some plugins do not even have enough MPs to be used. A device with just 2 controls would be ... not that much versatile, for example. Also I cannot see the intention behind this wish.
It feels like almost every plugin has a MB version of it. For the ones, who do not, you can still make your own with MXXX, spoken technically.
There is the arpeggiator already. Again: huh?Underoath77 wrote: Wed Dec 02, 2020 2:04 am -customizable( arpeggiator/looper like mdrummer) for Msoundfactory
You can already use MAutoDynamicEQ for eleminating resonance frequencies. But I guess that's not what you meant, hm?
Cool, what does it do?
And that one?
I really love MSF and it is my to-go synth since it came out, so do not get me wrong (I am even designing devices for it and loving it!), but: for now I do not really see MSF beating Kontakt, since you cannot script things at all or do such complex scripted things, what Kontakt could do (at least I cannot imagine something like Aaron Ventures Infinites Series to be done in MSF). Also I fear that, due to the intuitive module-workflow in MSF, the tradeoff might be optimization CPU-wise, but I am not sure, if this feeling is correct. Practically spoken: for now I could make CPU-friendly yet powerful sounding devices already. And if the CPU rises ... maybe I as a user just made it not optimal after all, hehe. So please also do not understand it as a critic point! It is a plain feeling and MSF has other very great advantages compared to Kontakt. I could not see myself doing some physical modeling alike stuff in Kontakt .. at least not THAT easy like in MSF. So in the end it feels to me that Kontakt will stay a bit longer on the top for sampling stuff, but I also hope and wish so hard that sampling will die out anyway in most areas and physical modeling and such things will "win" anyway. Here I could see MSF shine, hehe.
Just my quick thoughts.

Just a few more continued updates and improvements to MSuperLooper. It's this close [ ] to being pretty much the ultimate VST looper IMO.

Quality > quantity (I mean I've seen even the small hardcore melda user group needed to ask what's the difference between plugin x, y & z) and less marketing bla (especially for plugins that aren't even created yet - looking at you "mixing revolution"). Fixing the MSF wokrflow issues (like scrolling or too little space to see controls because the "smart" automatic UI creator decided it will fit) which have been there since the first major beta came out.

Some other suggestions :
1. Complete reworking of the documentation.
2. Video tutorials for newbs. Videos for common use cases. Chandler?!
3. Bulk export and import functionality for local user presets and configuration.
4. A device directory on the website, not necessarily done by Vojtech, but the device authors.
Just some ideas. I am totally satisfied with the functionality, by the way.

I do not necessarily have wishes for new plugins as it's already covered at best by many other companies, but big +1 for the generic, repeating documentation issue. Only own plugin from melda and because it's such a different workflow from anything else I spend more time in the documentation than in the plugin XD

So a cookbook-like collection of sound recipes using Melda tools may do the trick for you.DocSnyder wrote: Wed Dec 02, 2020 2:00 pm Only own plugin from melda and because it's such a different workflow from anything else I spend more time in the documentation than in the plugin XD

Another idea : How about a scripting engine?

As far as I remember Vojtech commented here once, that he himself wished he could lower the number of plugins (f.e. discontinue a few of the EQs and implementing their features into other existing Models) but due to backwards compatibility it's not possible.Magnut wrote: Wed Dec 02, 2020 1:42 pm Quality > quantity (I mean I've seen even the small hardcore melda user group needed to ask what's the difference between plugin x, y & z) and less marketing bla (especially for plugins that aren't even created yet - looking at you "mixing revolution"). But I still hope he will do this in the future.

That would be great. He already did something similar with the mb version renaming and changing GUI (knobs, faders,...) and Sinne other stuff. We’ve lost backward compatibility, but was it a big kick in the ass, don’t think so. It’s time for the next big step in lowering the plugin number and put together what belongs together. Version 15, including the Mixing revolution, maybe?

I don't know if it is technically possible but something like: Reducing the currently 8 EQs to 4Svama wrote: Wed Dec 02, 2020 9:22 pm That would be great. 1). I think Vojtech was willing to change this, but doesn't have the time to do it. Perhaps if someone else was willing it could be improved.ralfrobert wrote: Wed Dec 02, 2020 1:54 pm Some other suggestions :

2). I was actually going to do something like this, but when I talked to Vojtech I believe he didn't want me to because he was planning on doing some official videos on the melda channel on similar topics. I was going to go over things like the A/B features, the set button, how to use the various copy/paste features, etc. Perhaps Vojtech has some videos already lined up.
3). I thought it already had that.
4). What would you like in this directory? Do you just want discriptions or something else.
I agree that combining those EQs together would be goodAGIGA wrote: Wed Dec 02, 2020 10:04 pm I don't know if it is technically possible but something like: Reducing the currently 8 EQs to 4
