1). I think Vojtech was willing to change this, but doesn't have the time to do it. Perhaps if someone else was willing it could be improved.

2). I was actually going to do something like this, but when I talked to Vojtech I believe he didn't want me to because he was planning on doing some official videos on the melda channel on similar topics. I was going to go over things like the A/B features, the set button, how to use the various copy/paste features, etc. Perhaps Vojtech has some videos already lined up.

3). I thought it already had that.

4). What would you like in this directory? Do you just want discriptions or something else.

I agree that combining those EQs together would be good
1. What would be desirable: Avoid redundancy, have one manual describing common features, then separate ones specific to the plugin.

2. A roadmap would help coordinating this. Thank you again Chandler for your great videos.

3. Really? I will explore ...

4. A short description ... or the whole story like for the piano. If you look at Halion or AAS, such things like devices or presets are products on their own that cost serious money. With Melda, I think they should get more attention ... and be free. Categories or tags may also be helpful.

1. Complete reworking of the documentation.

2. Video tutorials for newbs. Videos for common use cases. Chandler?!

3. Bulk export and import functionality for local user presets and configuration.

4. A device directory on the website, not necessarily done by Vojtech, but the device authors.

Just some ideas. I am totally satisfied with the functionality, by the way.

1. MAutodynamicEQ (Including/replacing: MDynamicEQ, MEqualizerLP, MAutoEqualizer including the 10 bands it has)
2. MFreeformEQ (Including/replacing:MFreeformAnalogEq, MFreeformEqualizer)
3. MTurboEQ
4. MEqualizer (for the free bundle)

A rhythm editor for melda sound factory that's what I meant! As far as pitch correctiondidn't goes I meant something like this because I know he could do it well.... It would be amazing for Mixrevolution, at least something expanding upon Mautopitch...

Tbh I didn't work with Kontakt GUI development for a long time, but back then it was everything else than "an easy way", haha. :D

But nevertheless: you know that there is the cutsom GUI editor already in MSF and MXXX?

Underoath77 wrote: Wed Dec 02, 2020 2:04 am -A new control type(xy pad, knob, button)
They are already there. Somehow I assume that I got you wrong ... what exactly is this wish about? :D

Underoath77 wrote: Wed Dec 02, 2020 2:04 am -Device mode to all plugins
I guess that would not make sense. Some plugins do not even have enough MPs to be used. A device with just 2 controls would be ... not that much versatile, for example. Also I cannot see the intention behind this wish.

Underoath77 wrote: Wed Dec 02, 2020 2:04 am -Multiband for all plugins
It feels like almost every plugin has a MB version of it. For the ones, who do not, you can still make your own with MXXX, spoken technically.

Underoath77 wrote: Wed Dec 02, 2020 2:04 am -customizable( arpeggiator/looper like mdrummer) for Msoundfactory
There is the arpeggiator already. Again: huh? :D

You can already use MAutoDynamicEQ for eleminating resonance frequencies. But I guess that's not what you meant, hm?

Underoath77 wrote: Wed Dec 02, 2020 2:04 am -MSF to start gaining traction against Kontakt
I really love MSF and it is my to-go synth since it came out, so do not get me wrong (I am even designing devices for it and loving it!), but: for now I do not really see MSF beating Kontakt, since you cannot script things at all or do such complex scripted things, what Kontakt could do (at least I cannot imagine something like Aaron Ventures Infinites Series to be done in MSF). Also I fear that, due to the intuitive module-workflow in MSF, the tradeoff might be optimization CPU-wise, but I am not sure, if this feeling is correct. Practically spoken: for now I could make CPU-friendly yet powerful sounding devices already. And if the CPU rises ... maybe I as a user just made it not optimal after all, hehe. So please also do not understand it as a critic point! It is a plain feeling and MSF has other very great advantages compared to Kontakt. I could not see myself doing some physical modeling alike stuff in Kontakt .. at least not THAT easy like in MSF. So in the end it feels to me that Kontakt will stay a bit longer on the top for sampling stuff, but I also hope and wish so hard that sampling will die out anyway in most areas and physical modeling and such things will "win" anyway. Here I could see MSF shine, hehe.

Just my quick thoughts. :)

[I just found the arpeggiator being able to change the color of the notes instead of just having them white is probably what I would just to make things a little closer to the m drummer rhythm editor... also being able to change the icons of the drums to our own images would be helpful as well instead of just the stock imagesquote=Tagirijus post_id=7961490 time=1606892907 user_id=111811]

Vojtech already told me he doesn't like the idea of a global configuration/preset export.

I think it would be hard, given there are so many sub-presets, and I'm not going to argue with him but, let's face it, it would be convenient for the user.

I don't really have any 2021 Melda wishes. I already have Melodyne.

Maybe MLoFi. The new iZotope Vinyl kind of hangs up my sessions - plus it's fully non-resizable in reaper. Not even HiDPI compatibility fixes it - makes it worse, actually. But something to emulate old sampler algos: stretching, converter sound, general degridadation. It'd be a nice-to-have - nothing I'm losing sleep over.

If Mix Rev comes out, great. If not, no problem.

Many of you are far more advanced in the Meldaverse than me. I'm barely exploring MDrummer! My few forays into MSF have been great though. Currently using the additive module for a track's bass. Don't know how to properly use it but hey.

Shrinking the number of redundant plugins would be cool. I already did that via favorites but I can definitely see a streamlined lineup at some point.

The LoFi in Pro Tools was great; sucks to not have anymore in reaper or Live.

Total fancy wish, but would be a good start to have 32bit installation optional. We live in 2020 man...

And the nominees are:

Lol all three of those...so much yes.

But I could never leave Reaper. I've customized it for to many years...

If you look at the Reaper tutorials by Kenny Gioia, you know what I mean. Common tasks are explained in depth. With the material available right now, Melda stuff is only accessible via experimenting a lot. Lots of good tutorials are a selling point after all.

Yes, Kenny is great. I purchased his first Reaper (and mixing) courses, before he started working with cockos.
It would indeed be cool if someone could make a set of Melda tutorials that really show the ins and outs of those plugins.
I recently started digging deeper into the edit mode of MTurboComp..this alone would need a whole
set of tutorials. From the basics to how to build your own compressors.
But I'm afraid only Vojtech knows everything about it..
Maybe chandler is up for it. His stuff is already really good.
