Both work fine for me. It goes off as well on my PC but only for 1 second and then is on again. This is not surprising since there is a little delay implemented to wait till the bank page has changed before the track is selected.
Is your PC exceptionally fast or slow? What are your hardware specs? Seems like there is an issue somehow with timing.
For me its stuck at off. Not changing at all. Only if change track and then back.
My PC pretty fast i think: i9 9900k, 32gb RAM, mostly SSD, Bitwig 3.3, DrivenByMoss 10.9.3 and Push2 firmware 1.0 build 71

you probabaly changing tracks by left-right on Push?
try to change tracks by keyboard or mouse.. you will get this problem ;)

Hi Moss! I use Generic Flexi with my Xtouch mini. I would like to use a button to select parameter page 1 of a device, use another to select parameter page 2, use another... page 3...
Maybe it is a feature you removed because I can see you documented it: https://github.com/git-moss/DrivenByMos ... evice-mode.

Hi for the fire is there any ay to preview the drum sounds on the drum step sequencer before entering them in so we know which row to add them in? or is it trial and error?

Also is there a way to enter microsteps for each step? Is there a way to offset a step or an entire rows of steps?

Hej Moss,
hej others,

first of all: what an amazing work! Thank you so much!

I use DrivenByMoss with a Novation Launchkey Mini MK3 and really like your adaption. However I'm running into one issue: when looping drums under Ableton I used to trigger/stop the recording with the record button. Now the record button on the controller is mapped to the main/arrangement record button and it seems as if I cannot record clips with it? If I use the Clipview for starting/stopping the record however, I have troubles switching back from the drumview to stop the recording quick enough.

I am pretty sure there is an easy way to solve my problem as I am just diving into the beautiful world of (electronic) sound creation... So if anyone could help me out here I would be really happy!

Thank you so much!
Jakob

I am new to Bitwig and trying to set up my various NI-MIDI-controllers in the best way possible. (M32, Jam & Maschine Mk3 Mikro). I am having an issue with the Komplete M32 receiving a memory error message related to the MIDI output parameters after installing the DBM extension in Bitwig as per your detailed documentation.
See attached screendump.

Bitwig 3.3, DBM 10.9.3 and Windows 10. Decent gaming PC-rig w/ 16GB RAM.

Thanks.
This misleading error means that another application has already opened the port. Either this is caused by an application you ran before, which did not close the port properly (or crashed) or you are running another application at the same time which opened the port, also check for any MIDI utilities you might be running in the background. But first try a reboot and see if that fixes the issue.
First thanks for your quick feedback. Have now checked for potential conflicting applications, utilities etc. Rebooted. Done reinstallation of the DBM script. Removed other controller scripts from Bitwig ...etc
Unfortunately the error remains.
Any other suggestions?
Are you (or anybody else reading this) aware of any succesful tests with the M32 specifically?

Hi,
had the same problem a while ago. I have no clue what caused it but a complete reinstall of windows and all programs was the only solution that helped. Since then all works as i should (again)

fire feature request - Any way we can get sampler parameter steps to respond to settings like the drum machine where we can change parameters by each step when we hold down the step? Things like pitch, loop starting point, speed etc? Im doubtful it can be done that would be fun. I can load samplers into each pad in the drum machine.

Fire issue -with drum machine. Hi Moss did you ever look into why dragging a sample onto the drum machine pad instead of loading it from the small plus sign in the pad causes the drum machine to stop responding to the fire? When I place the sample in slot E3 then the fire drum machine goes blank. When I remove the sample, it comes back online showing all the steps etc.

I could reproduce it with the mouse. I added a bit of delay before setting the note matrix which should fix it. At least I could not reproduce it anymore.

Thanks, will be fixed in the next update.

I added Alt+Mute/Solo buttons to display the drum sounds name for the next update.

No, that's is not possible.

Currently not but I will add settings that you can choose the function for the record button.

I have a M32 as well and it works.

I got a few similar reports which turned out in the end, that they had a tool running and forgot about. You can use e.g. SysInternals Autruns to check what is started on your system.
You can try to reinstall the NI background services, which could have got somehow mixed up (not too uncommon).

First thing I would try is to use e.g. MIDI-OXand try to open the ports to find out if the issue is in Bitwig or a general problem.

You cannot set automation data via the API. So not possible.
