Zebra/Zebrify/ZHZ CTRL A/B assignment issues

The global and per-instance settings for CTRL A and B are not working and/or can't be reassigned. I could swear these worked fine in a previous project where I needed to re-assign them regularly. I have another such project now, but have hit a wall with these issues. Any advice?

1. In all three - Zebra, Zebra HZ and Zebrify - I can't change the per instance CTRL A/B assignments at all. I can change the global assignments, which then update the per instance assignments in Zebra and ZHZ in new instances only, but NOT Zebrify.

2. This is the one causing major problems - in Zebrify only, the per instance settings for CTRL A/B are stuck on CC 2 and 11, and no matter what I change in the global settings to, only those two CCs will work. If the globals are changed to anything else, CTRL A and B just don't respond at all.

This is true whether I'm using AU, VST, or VST3, in Reaper, Bidule, or Logic. On a MacBook Pro 2020 16", OS 10.15.7, Zebra and Zebrify rev 9436, ZebraHZ rev 9709.

I did find a couple of old topics on CTRL assignment issues, but they didn't really match these problems.

Indeed, there is a small bug in Zebrify.
The global Ctrl A/B settings are not being used when loading a new instance, each new instance is simply set to CC 2 and 11.
Thanks for finding this, I'll add it to our bug tracking database.

But, for each instance of Zebrify, you can still set the per instance setting on the MIDI table page (not in the preferences page), and it will accept those settings. This works fine over here.

Additionally, I could not find any issues with Zebra2 and ZebraHZ, the global settings in the preferences as well as the per instance settings on the MIDI table page work just fine.

First thing you could try would be to update both Zebra2 and ZebraHZ to version 2.9.2, and then test again.
The Zebrify issue with the per instance setting is still present, but you should be able to change the setting on the MIDI table page.

If you still have those other issues after updating, it might be best to contact our support, so we can trouble shoot, and help you fix the problem.
Best to mention details like which MIDI controller you are using, and on which MIDI channel you are sending the control data.

Thanks. Have updated to 2.9.2, but it did not change anything.
It's not the global popup in preferences that's locked, it's the per instance popup on the midi table page that is locked for all three. It doesn't respond to the mouse at all. In Zebra and Zebra HZ, the VALUES for CTRL A/B on the midi table page change in subsequent instances to match a change to global settings, but can't be set themselves. In Zebrify,. regardless of global settings, the per instance in the midi table stays at CC 2 and11, regardless of the global setting.
Having a any controller connected or not doesn't change it.
Stumped. Now trying to figure out where the per-instance settings are stored in case there is a permissions issue on the Mac. If that doesn't work I'll email support (thanks for that tip, for some reason I thought this forum was the only support available).

Solved - or pretty much solved. Will leave this here in case anyone else has this problem.
While no popup appears when clicking on the CTRL A/B fields for per instance control on the midi table page, clicking and dragging up or down does cycle through the values. So there's no popup, as there is when changing this in the global prefs, but it does change.

I can't say why there's no popup there (should be IMHO), but I find hovering over those fields and rolling the mousewheel much easier than click & drag.
