They often have a percent off for doing surveys which is a sale price. They have also had the NI thing which was a huge sale. There has also been a sale on DIVA not all that long ago. You can't put them in the same sentence with Valhalla who really doesn't have sales.
There was a diva sale?

also in couple of years I own u-he stuff i got one survey voucher.
u-he sales are "maybe i'll get lucky once in 3 years" which absolutely doesn't affect resale.

On the other hand there's PA/Waves where nobody actually looks at retail any more

Yes there was a DIVA sale, it was some sort of anniversary sale for it. It was a pretty good price too.

I got Diva and Repro from some cross-grade deal with Native Instruments. I think they were really cheap, half price if I recall correctly.

I got DIVA from that sale as well then sold it fairly cheap. Only to buy it back at full price down the road :dog: :hihi:

Yes, Diva's great, but I think I actually use Repro more.
But yes, just thought I'd chime in. Opportunities do arise to get U-He stuff cheap, but they're few and far between.

I was lucky enough to catch that sale and pick up Diva and Repro cheap, but kicked myself after for not also picking them up bundled with effects. I didn't realise at the time that sort of discount on u-he products was rare as hens' teeth.
I think in UK prices it was Diva, Repro, Satin, Colour Copy, Twangström and Presswerk for £249.

Are you safe?

I paid £239 and i already had Presswerk and Diva, the idea was to sell those 2 but i'd forgotten all about that until you reminded me, lol.
I guess thats the very definition of having more stuff than you need when you cant keep track of what you own. :)
Mac mini m4 pro, Reaper, too many plugins, Modal Argon8, Novation Circuit Mono Station and now a lovely Waldorf Blofeld.

Use a spreadsheet. That way you'll still have too much stuff, but at least you'll know about it. :hihi:
A well-behaved signature.

I do have a spreadsheet. I add how much usage. I was horrified to see that of 140 items, 100 hadn't really been used. Mainly stuff bought years ago.

I think I'll be selling off a bunch, not so much for the money, more to assauge the guilt.

I did that before and ended up buying most of it back, if not all.

I have a spreadsheet of both my paid and free software.
I am going to import it to a database as I find it easier to filter data then.
That will count as an upgrade of sorts! :)

This was a mistake which was corrected quickly. Generate is a great product, but we genuinely can't afford to sell it for $39.
Lol - I don't doubt you can't afford to sell it at that price!!! Who loses out in the event of a mispricing mishap like that? The dev? Or the store? (Or someone else?)
