It's looking like it - its currently in the hands of our initial sound design team - we have 6 super talented sound designers working up a killer factory sound library.
If your on the Waveform beta team, we will be making it available in approx 3 weeks
Really looking forward to this one!! It started as an 'easy' relatively quick project, but Wolfram has been wanting to dive deep into FM for years and this grew into a monster. We have been careful to keep it approachable for the many, whilst offering a depth of capabilities that will excite the most hardened FM fanatics

That would definitely make me happy. I used to have a TG77 and I loved it!

It refuses description, allowing only the vague approach of adjectives: dark, light, raw, angelic. Who or what is making these noises? Where are they coming from and what do they point to? What kind of entity can leave such a troubling sonic remnant?

Did you implement an audio in operator like NI FM8?...would be cool in a tracktion rack instead of having to resample.
Have you considered a tonal mode where the FM modulator and carrier phase are synchronized at the start of every cycle which forces the oscillator to be tonal no matter what the FM parameters are set to like in Fathom? Extends the usability range of pushing FM to extremes which I assume F'em is all about

As a longtime Tracktion and Waveform user, I'm very excited about F'em!
Is there any hope of joining the beta team, or creating some sounds for this new synth?
I've had previous experience with beta testing new synths for various VSTi developers. I also operated the service department for Camel Audio at one point, which included beta testing, preset creation, etc.
Thanks to the pandemic, I have plenty of available time I could devote to this.

Close as in “this is going to be a great weekend” close? Asking for a friend with an FM addiction.
