Hi, hope you're well. Thought it might be cool for the drums in the Quick Setup/Designer panel to light up on playback. This would let you know which drum is being played so you can edit it without guessing. Something like an LED-like luminance curve with velocity sensitivity and a natural fade. This could also be duplicated as colored backlights for the Drumset Editor/Drum List.

A small playback button could be added to the Drumset Toolbar in this tab also. This prevents making the user click over to the Quick Setup tab to start and stop MDrummer's internal rhythms. Actually, a small playback button on all the tabs would be great.

Thanks.

I always thought it would be cool to also allow Mdrummer to edit the PNG drum images. Your idea is genius as well!!!

I'm afraid not planned mainly because of CPU needed for this, and also because of the ambiquity - each component is actually several drums, so an indicator somewhere wouldn't really tell you exactly what is being played. Considering the small number of components, this doesn't seem to be too useful really.
