Anecdotally

YODA is a patronymic that belongs to the Bisa tribe and even more specifically to a village in Burkina Faso called Kompega

...It should really turn to a location of pilgrimage for the star war's fans !!!

Oh no its not.
Indeed. I read it as sarcasm. :hihi:

I thought it was a sarcastic/ironic joke, when somebody said that somebody has made Serum for Bitwig The Grid in the Bitwig beta, but it wasn't.

Dazd_N_Confuzd wrote: Sat Nov 07, 2020 7:28 pmI don't think Hainbach made this though, as in the code was written by AudioThing? I think Hainbach provided the original device that was modelled.
Yes, I did the code, he provided the device, and also did all the measurements, comparisons, fine-tuning, etc...
It was a great collab as we share the same passion for all these rare vintage devices.
We are already talking about new projects, we'll see how it goes ;)
The Hainbach bandpass filter! Please...:-)

Personally I'm holding out for something that will do this.

I'm sure the engineer at the time said "no, don't worry, I'll fix it in the mix"
Hehe. I've got a pile of old shellac that I should probably sample up now I have better gear and knowledge. They definitely have a characteristic sound. Not exactly sure where I stored them though.

That sounds interesting. I'm still holding back on Bitwig. Been very happy with Reaper since leaving FL Studio and Pro Tools.

I came from Reason 10 to Bitwig about 6 months ago and so far i'm very happy. I was sceptical when somebody said they had made Serum in The Grid in 24 hours of 3.3 beta.
