Modulation of the sample start in Musampla - is it possible?

Not posible but, with some automation you can do in the granular module.
That would be a nice addition in M9.x, the possibility to automate the start-loop-end possitions, Just like the Granular player module.

If its not very short, oneway is to loop a sequence part (or trigger a series of notes), choose a variety of Start points and toggle among them as you record to another track. The benefit is you get to precisely choose each Start point.
You could also record a loop in MuSampla while you change the Loop Start point. That would change the timing of your loop if you did not also change the End by the same, but it could create cool polyrhythms as you move in and out of time like Steve Reich.
You could also follow it with a transient effect and automate that.
