Rendering automated tracks

First the Song was exported fine.
I add automation to a few tracks and now those tracks are absent or muted in the rendering.
Any ideas on how to remedy this?

This has come up a couple of times lately. I'm curious to know what's going on. Someone posted a video that shows a volume/pan plugin going down to zero volume right at the start. It looks like automation, although he claimed that there was no automation. The thing with automation is you can hide it, so it's not really possible for us to tell from a distance if there is invisible automation or if there is a bug that keeps automation that has been really removed.

Anyways, you might be able to solve the problem by doing one of two things:

1) Move content of the tracks to new tracks.
2) Delete the volume/pan plugin and add a new one if you need it.

Waveform makes it easy to hide automation, but making it show again is trickier. Personally, I would recommend trying to track down automation. Folks claim there isn't any automation doing the automation things, but the only thing that does automation things is automation.

If you click one of the automation A buttons you can go down to the "Active parameter curves in Edit" or "Active parameter curves for this track" options and see what's being automated. If there is something there and it has no check mark, it's active but not visible.

I kept it simple and never hid it. The only automation is volume.
WHen I play it in waveform, it plays just fine. exported, it's missing those tracks.
