Yuli Yolo a.k.a. Nicolas Jaussaud hits the spot here with a specialist soundset. Almost all of the included sounds are about hitting, scraping or plucking things, with a strong sense of material throughout.
The 190 percussion instruments include many pitched mallets (realistic as well as fantasy), complex 'smashes' and several unique special effects. If synth percussion is missing from your palette of sounds, this is the one for you.
Objects for Hive 2 is NKS-ready, including audio previews.

Yuli Yolo is a very talented sound designer. The way he creates percussive sounds is so unique. We've worked together on some projects and I'm always impressed by his approach to patch making and have learned one or two things from him.
We often choose sound packs that focus on pads, leads, basses, arps, but we also need percussive sounds, mallets, quirky drums and so on. Drop a unique sounding percussive sound in your track, and it gets elevated with more interest. Such sounds may not be the focus, but they add the necessary spice that the ear picks up, and says: oh yes!
So glad to see a pack for Hive2 from Nico. And by the way, whoever designed the cover art deserves a medal. Absolutely beautiful.

Bought it and last night went thru favouriting the bank.
Quite enjoyed quite a few.
What I also like is they are dry so I can easily add my own effects to them. Not soaking in reverb and delays etc.
Appreciated.

This is incredible! What a showcase for the possibilities in Hive. I have to admit I hadn't given Hive a proper look but I love physical modelling so might have to save up for these.

I'm thinking 'Aztec' for the bottom patterns under the name, and 'European Folklore' with that gorgeous blooming flower above the 'E', although on the second thought it feel very Hindu as well.
See what you've done, U-he, we will now study the cover art.

I see - I was going more by the overall gold on black styling but yes I see many different cultural elements
