Turnado & Key Sync function

Please explain better to me, what are doing a "Key Sync" fx function ? For example in "Filter" fx.
From manual:

The Key Sync enables you to quantise Turnado effects to the beat. When
set to "Off" then the effect will activate as soon as you turn it on. If it is
set to "¼" bar, then the effect will activate at the beginning of the next
beat regardless of when you turn the effect on.

The fact that I did not hear of any impact of this function on the sound (maybe I was a slightly teapot, or imperfect knowledge of English.) Please describe the situation (preset configuration) in which the Key Sync would show itself.

This option only takes effect if your host sequence is running.
If you turn the knob on, the real activation of the effect is delayed until the host clock aligns to the choosen setting.
Especially for the loopers this is very usefull since it makes sure that you really capture the a bassdrum or snare. Otherwise it could happen that you are slightly before or behind the bassdrum and capture (and loop) silence.

Thanks for replies, Sugar Bytes. I'm using Mainstage, syncing to live drummer, tapping tempo, but is there any way to have it sync to when I press a key on my keyboard, or is it only linked to a host's click track.

Not sure waht you mean.
It's linked to the clock of your host.
You press a key, the fx activation will be delayed until it aligns nicly with the clock.
