I am soooo looking forward to the Linux version.
But hey, I'll read the cookbook anyway and be well prepared.
Me too! It would seem more patience might be needed though. Last I heard the zebra update that came out in October was meant to be released a few weeks later, though it has been months at this point. It's quite fortunate that they are worth the wait.

Just paging through some of that PDF. Damn, there’s a tremendous amount of work involved in this project.

Anyone else experiencing having to click and drag twice on inputs and outputs in order to see a cable? I discovered that you can actually make the connection the first time without seeing the cable and then it suddenly appears once the cable is attached. I'm guessing I've accidentally corrupted a file in Bazille's data folder, probably when I created a separate data folder in the VST3 directory when running both new and old versions of Bazille side-by-side to repair broken patches. Any ideas?

Checked on Mac and Windows, works on first click every time, cable shows up and can be dragged. I've actually never heard of such an issue.
If you are done fixing your sounds, it would be a good idea to remove both installations and then install the final release version (revision 10693).
Only other possible source of problems: Are you using a third party skin? Maybe that one has a bug.

Thank you Howie for this gem (nice photo's!). Patch set on my list for after the holidays. Have you talked a certain movie composer into using Bazille yet btw ?

Purchased -- drag the soundset file onto the UI, get 3 errors - the first a permissions error (no indication what the permissions error is related to). Then it just fails to install. Updated to the latest 1.1.1 Bazille version. Latest update of BigSur. Running inside Logic Pro 10.6.1. Any one else with this issue?

Hmm, no problems on my end. Did you try the AU/VST3 version that you hadn't previously? (I had no problems with VST3.)

Thanks for the suggestion - I'm so focused on AU, didn't consider that other plugin formats may work. VST worked fine. Not sure why AU has permissions issues and VST does not -- it's documented here should some one else run into the same thing.

Because it's finally sounds like proper xmas. Could we have picture of Howard dressed like Santa in Cookbook?

I wonder if I should wait for the Linux update or try to run the Windows VST.

On my side I found I had to extract the the soundset first. Just dragging and dropping from the zip failed but it worked after an extract.

Post

Oh I didn't realise you were suppose to be able to drag the zip.....I assume (like omnisphere) it required access to the .whateveritiscalled file
