I really like it :D

Only thing buggering me is the lack of smooth random. Or I'm just missing something obvious.

Hi there

What do you mean by smooth random?

Thanks!

So what's your threshold for decent/ok/good quality? You can give names of other synths that you see as "quality"

Didn’t mean to offend, I understand this is completely subjective. I think Synthmaster One has one of the best GUIs and workflow and a TON of options. I just don’t like the sound of it, same with Pigments which is also very popular. I think Dune 3 and ANA 2 sound incredible.

I understood what the hype was about when I A/B'd through some songs and SM presets in the DAW :tu:

Bought it a while back but sold it. Re purchased it a few weeks back and man, so glad I did. I love it! Sounds fantastic, looks great. Awesome having everything on one screen. It's also rock solid on my machine.

I mean that random is for example stepped (like s&h), and I'm after something that smoothes those steps into a glide or something.

Random glide, that' how it's called, e.g., in Hive

Oh I see what you mean. Try using an LFO with S&H and noise parameters turned up, as a modulation source.

SynthMaster One is actually pretty amazing.

I did. That's how it works on some synths but SM1 only gave me crackles :P

It's not an essential feature, I can use other synths for that. Or use a modulator in Bitwig. I just told what I miss directly from the synth ;)

I don't know why S&H LFO behaves more like a short sequence than random S&H. Or am I doing something wrong?

SM One is probably the best synth available, for the money.

It has great sound, is fast to work with, has zero-delay feedback filters, includes wavetables, plus you can import your own.

Has an inspiring library of new factory presets. Not the same ones as in SM 2. But they will be readable in SM 3

Can you do better for $49 full price, $29 crossgrade (from SM2), or $39 upgrade (from player)? On sale now until Jan 4!

Despite all the love, I still don't understand why it can't be a different wavetable synth than Synthmaster :?:

As I already have Synthmaster and I don't have any I-phones, I don't see any sense in upgrading (downgrading) to Synthmaster One just to have a smaller synth with the same wavetable features which needs less CPU.
