How to say - ähm - yeah ok- ou need the Login Data for the Acustica Audio Website. Once you have mastered this challenge click on Install besides Cerise.
What is that, and why do I need it? And where is that written?

Great, genius... Just read this:

"4. Log-in on Aquarius using your user-name email and password."

That's the f*** step I can't perform. And why do I need to restart the computer, and have no application running? What century are we? I use installers from NI, iZotope, Arturia, Roland Cloud... etc. and none of them gave me this kind of trouble. This sh** is badly programmed, that's all. I am going to uninstall it. I don't care if it's free or they pay us to use it.

I must admit that I never read the "Installation" Chapter, I´ve done that too often already - but I´m pretty sure that there is one.

The Products you own (5 Licenses pP) are managed via your Account and you´ have to feed Aqua with your Login Data to authorize for the Installation.

Believe me. It´s easy. As safe as may Bank. Hopefully :D

Headphones recommended!

I just uninstalled the whole lot. Tried Cerise and a couple of their other freebies and was not impressed at all.

Too much bloat for plugins that really don't sound any better than other plugins I own. Of course that's just my opinion. Others will no doubt disagree.

But I appreciate their generosity it's just that the whole Acustica Audio concept is not for me.

So I'm out.........

It should be, indeed. I opened a ticket on support, just to know what they will answer. But based on comments I already read (1 GB for a channel strip :o ) I think I'll pass.

The channel strip itself is about 400mb, which is very light be AA standards; Pink and Sand are around 3GB each :o bit of a pain for single disk users, but not a big deal if you have multiple drives.

if it's anywhere near as good as their Celestial plugin (which i have used in my Master Chain ever since i got it), i can't wait to download
my newest sounds:

Cakewalk by BandLab, Komplete 13, Maschine 2 (MKI & Jam), Fathom Synth, Guitars, Jam Origin MIDI Guitar, EXH Superego+ etc

Its good, very good. I like it already more than Navy. It adds nice finish and character.
I didn't touched compressor yet (usually not the strongest part of AA plugins) .

May I ask which "other Plugins" you are talking about? Nothing I have heard even comes close for me. No 3D, no "mojo".

This is several times better than Celestial. And DSP usage is good.

3. Restart your computer.

4. After the new boot. Check no application is running, and run Aquarius.

5. Log-in on Aquarius using your user-name (email) and password.

6. Type the product name in the 'search' section inside Aquarius to find the trial version, then click on the thumbnail or on the 'Install' button.

7. Select the correct plug-in format for the installation from the drop-down menu.

8. Aquarius will download, install, and authorize the trial product automatically.

9. Run your DAW or NLE. You're set!

I hope it helps.

Don't know why this is needed, but anyway  Check!

You realize there are applications ALWAYS running in a modern computer, right? How will I stop everything from running? This is plainly stupid. There are things I WANT there, running. So... Check (as long as it's possible - the manual mentions "audio applications, anyway)
Acustica Community wrote: Tue Dec 22, 2020 10:16 pm 5. Log-in on Aquarius using your user-name (email) and password.
I tried, and I always get a message telling that there is a problem with the password, and to try reset the password. However, if I try to login to the site, I can do it perfectly. What about that? :hihi:

From step 6. on I don't comment. except that you should create something that simply runs. See how NI did it. how Arturia did it, how UVI did it, how iZotope did it. They don't ask anything. We open the portal, and simply run the installers from there. Transparently, and without hassles.

If you can't do it like that, stick to simple installers. This Aquarius sh*** ISN'T WORKING. And all these demands are the proof that you did something wrong. :x

1 gb is a joke, right or you've just not programmed efficiently or thought it out properly, installation manager or not? There's really no excuse for that. PSP E27 and PA Dangerous Bax have much more practical footprints and obviously sound great. Nice gesture but sort out your basics if you want to reach a wider audience
