It doesn't cut off reverb or delay, or ADSR release times, just sustain and decay I think. you can check this, some sounds are so drenched in release, reverb and delay you can have a hard time telling that it's cutting off. You can check this by turning release and FX off.Noumena wrote: Tue Dec 08, 2020 8:14 pmYup! With transport on any sustained note will die in a couple bars's time. It only happens when the project is playing, and the notes cut off at the start of the next bar, which is why they seemed to be cutting off at different times when I was playing. And why I could write in a note that was longer than a bar and it would not sustain the whole clip.
I've been checking the settings to find if there is anything that could be causing this but it happens with the new init patch as well as patches so I think it must be a bug.
EDIT: this doesn't happen w the default sound. I can get it to always happen with concert violin and a couple of other patches, but not with a "new" sound. I wasn't seeing it before because I was only playing the patches I've been cooking up, starting w/ default. So I don't think it is global.
Oh and it's a cross platform bug, I'm on OS X.
