MDrummer Layer Processing

I'm on video 11 in the Mdrummer 2019 playlist and...
surprised to see there are no filters/FX chain for each layer. I feel like filters are essential to drum layering. Maybe that'd be a good addition.
Thanks.

Well, that's quite unlikely to be honest. Why would you want that anyways? The multisamples sort of have it "inside" it.

Btw. you can always create multiple identical drums with just a single layer, and then use it's own effect pipeline.

That's true. Personally, I rarely use virtual drummers' internal mixers. I just expected there to be some layering functions. For example, when using Load and Join, sometimes you want to make one of the drums to have the transient and the other lower. Yes, volume envelope is good but so is filtering. All I ever do is resample the individual drums out to the DAW's timeline but some people like using internal routing and layering; for example the filter sliders in Battery.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Just for clarity:
'Load and join' is about whole drumsets or components, not about velocity layers.
Drumsets and components contain drumtypes..each drumtype has its own FX pipeline.
Individual velocity layers within a drumtype don't have their own FX.

Coming to grips with MD is very much a matter of mapping out in your mind (or on paper) the hierarchies/signal flow etc, but I'll admit that it does resemble spagetti! (but I like spagetti).

I'm a DRUMSET EDITOR sort of guy, but I like a bit of RHYTHM GENERATOR if dining alone.
