Nah, it's not based on anything logical or coherent, it's just foot-stamping. Uncle E for example had some epic 7-7 scores, sounds like the best football match ever.
Bring on the foot-stampers.

Cheers, It’s only now seeing those that I understand what it is they’ve sampled. I kept thinking “yes, but what disk contents?”, not realising they meant the drives themselves. I’m not a stranger to this concept, I got a Winchester disk to play the octaves bassline from Blue Monday at my first job.

I can't find it either.Dirtgrain wrote: Mon Dec 21, 2020 5:35 am Dang, I tried to find an Eventide Octavox upgrade option, and failed to do so. I found a spot in my account to enter my ilok ID, but that did not present an upgrade link. Searching Google, I did find Q&A posts on Eventide's site with links to an Upgrade Center, but, alas, that page would not open. Perhaps that's all from an older website they no longer use? Ah well, might try again tomorrow.

Most likely started by a group of people who got upset that the KVR community did not give in the demand of separating preset and plugin sale posts. Somewhat ironic, really. They claimed that they did not have enough time to look at the preset posts but apparently time is not an issue when it comes to downvoting. The result is that the up/downvotes have no meaning anymore. There is no relationship between the vote and the quality of the post or the sale. People downvoted a rare Luftrum sale, for crying out loud. Imho that is a crime punishable by deportation to another universe, revvy wrote: Thu Dec 24, 2020 8:21 am Nah, it's not based on anything logical or coherent, it's just foot-stamping. I find it hilarious that someone downvoted this, I can just imagine Ebenezer Scrooge browsing KVR downvoting Christmas messages.

Well, to state the obvious, we're living in __________ times. Humans are social creatures, and isolation does funny things to people.
KVR doesn't feel more toxic to me, but it does feel less communal. That could just be because online interactions are poor substitutions for the real thing.

Yes, some people have lost their humor since Trump / Corona. They are easily trolled.Vleker wrote: Thu Dec 24, 2020 5:17 pm Yeah, is it me or does KVR feel more toxic than last year? Not sure how but I don't get the same vibe as I used to.
