Hi Urs and the Team

I am really sitting on the fence deciding if i need the Dark Zebra Update that's on NI Sale currently.

I have Diva, Zebra (which I have not fully utilized actually) Hive 1-2, Repro, Ace (which I wish i could get a third full oscillator extra and updated filters)

However there are other preset packs for Diva, Zebra that i liked the sound of very much eg Swan Audio sets and the Divine soundset of Joseph Hollo that REALLY resonates with the music i want to create.

I would have loved to get Bazille actually if it was in the NI sale

and Yes I can wait for Zebra3 for another two years while I am learning Zebra2

My Question is What Would You do if you where in my Shoes?

Definitely buy it. The addition of the Diva filters adds some much needed character to Zebra. Not that Zebra’s filters are bad in any way, but they’re just not as characterful as the ones from Diva. Plus, you’re getting an automatic free upgrade to Zebra 3 when it comes out. Seems like a no-brainer to me.

I also say: buy it. I got Zebra 2 & Dark Zebra in the sale and had some days to play around. With Zebra HZ, you can do things that sound completely different from the normal Zebra. If you continue to use it after Z3 has been released, you get the update for free. And I think the 400 presets in DZ are real masterworks which provide an excellent resource to learn and to modify and use them.

Money well spent. Just compare it to other expenses in music production. You cannot go wrong with it. There is also a Youtube video demoing some of the presets ... very impressive, I think.

The YouTube demos are very limited.. what are the keys and the basses like.. I am not really very intrestes in soumd effects and what is the cpu hit like on your System and what are your specs? Is there a list of presets that I can see as I dont see it I the manual.. Is it possible for you to screengrab just a general list of the presets that are included if you dont mind. And do the Diva filters really shape the sound that much that there us really a more fuller analogue sound. Sorry for all the questions. .
