But proper 'real-time' recording is on the roadmap.Skorobgatko wrote: Mon Nov 16, 2020 6:55 pm When I try to record drum midi pattern it records notes one after each without gaps. I mean I can't skip a few hits to make a gap in rhythm. Is it possible to record midi like in a regular DAW?
altough the resolution is dependent on the sequencer speed

Essentially, this (in answer to your question about Write to MIDI Pool):

You need to send the `true` from the [on play] to be recording when the transport starts, and `false` from [on stop] to stop MIDI recording.

Thanks, Colin. Still trying to wrap my head around Architect - how many of the program modules are Lua modules, and how many are "other"?colin@loomer wrote: Sat Dec 26, 2020 6:54 pm You can export Lua scripts directly from any Lua module (albeit just by copying the source), but other modules cannot (currently) be exported as Lua.
If I combine Lua modules to create a certain routing, can I somehow "group" those Lua modules and export the code with the routing as a single Lua script?
Sorry if these are basic questions, and thanks for your time!

Essentially, just the actual [Lua script] modules are natively Lua: all the others effectively compile to another (internal) proprietary virtual machine language. Unfortunately, that means you can't, say, select multiple modules (even if they are all [Lua script] modules) and then expect to export them as a single 'wired up' Lua script.bharris22 wrote: Sat Dec 26, 2020 8:42 pm how many of the program modules are Lua modules, and how many are "other"?

Hi, I ve just stuck on again fairly simple task: I wanted use automation in place of some pattern, but it stays red here and I can not make any point there. In manual I can see that you can (of course) run automation in place of Patter, so what did I missed?
Thanx for reply.

It's because the start and end nodes of that automation curve segment have the same y-value. You'll need to move either the start or end node of that segment up or down.

So Architect´s automation points can be set only in bar intervals? (I see now this also case in manual - pg. 5).

No, you can set the time quantise to any value, or off entirely. There is a time-quantise setting in the top right corner of the Timeline UI, next to the magnet icon.

I'm afraid 0.11 is still not completely done yet, as per usual it turned into a lot more work than I had intended. So it will definitely be early this year, but I can't be nailed down to an exact date. There's a lot in 0.11, so I hope people will appreciate the delay.

MIDI or audio? J/K it's a chicken and egg thing, I'm sure useful presets will help drive sales and awareness. Thanks for all your work...

what is the status of this project? is it still being actively developed, or have people moved on?
