The good old Melda #newsletter Trick.
Does anyone know, if PA might reset their 'Surprise-20-Voucher'..?

Correct, today it is. Should've waited but already used the voucher. Let's hope for another one!c0nan wrote: Sat Dec 26, 2020 5:01 pmBlackbox was on sale a couple of days ago. Cheers. Got bx boom and sandman for free.monomox wrote: Sat Dec 26, 2020 5:36 pm got bx_boom or whatever is called. But this plugin chase is getting old, I'm thinking to somehow linking getting new plugins releasing tracks... like, no new plugins--free or otherwise--until I release my next track, you know what I'm saying?

i'm just about to buy an upgrade to Reason 11 from a reseller, because it is on sale atm., but i think about keeping the serial and register it not before the grace period to Reason 12 to get a "free" upgrade to V.12. i know, this method works with Cubase, but does it work with Reason too? The RS FAQs say "buy and register". Any experience? Thank you!

Is it worth the space on my drive and clutter in my plugin list if I have Arturia V Collection? Sem V is pretty good.
Edit: Oh look, there are a bazillion threads about this. I think I will just stick with the one I know.

I was in the same boat for a while. There's an excellent youtube video that convinced me to just stick with the arturia version -Gribs wrote: Sun Dec 27, 2020 7:53 pmIs it worth the space on my drive and clutter in my plugin list if I have Arturia V Collection? Sem V is pretty good.

What are your "must-have" Plugin Alliance plugins now that they are $29 ?
I really like bx_townhouse and SPL's passeq so far. Not sure how much use I'll get out of the ADA STD-1 and flanger given that I ended up also buying the eventide H910/H3000 factory on sale. They're more expensive but awesome despite their age and oldschool gui.

If you don't have either I'd vote for bx_O. If you already have Arturia's SEM, bx_O is redundant for the most part. Arturia's is more versatile however the bx is more responsive and sounds more analog-like IMO.

This exactly. If I had to have one, it would be the bx_oberhausenAlchemedia wrote: Sun Dec 27, 2020 11:47 pm If you don't have either I'd vote for bx_O. For me it plugins are now similar to hardware where I have to physically make room for something new, usually by selling something old. I am out of “something old” that I want to sell. Something new has to be really exciting to me to get me to buy it. There is plenty of room for new plugins on my drives, but it is browser and mental clutter that needs to get cleaned up.monomox wrote: Sat Dec 26, 2020 5:36 pm got bx_boom or whatever is called. If you register your Reason 11 upgrade serial after Reason 12 is released. You will still get Reason 11.mellotronaut wrote: Sun Dec 27, 2020 7:29 pm i'm just about to buy an upgrade to Reason 11 from a reseller, because it is on sale atm., but i think about keeping the serial and register it not before the grace period to Reason 12 to get a "free" upgrade to V.12. i know, this method works with Cubase, but does it work with Reason too? If you've never purchased anything from MeldaProduction's website directly, you get 20% off your order with a referral code. It can be added to the current 50% sale -->$182 to $145 USD.GiggleGut wrote: Mon Dec 28, 2020 5:51 am I'm sitting on the fence on getting Melda MSoundFactory. How much of a discount is the referral codes? Also is this stackable with the current sale they have going on?
At the same time, make sure you subscribe to the newsletter and add the 10 credits that gets added to your account to the order to reduce the price by 10 EUR (~12 USD) --> $145 to $133 USD.
