Spring Goose wrote: Mon Dec 28, 2020 9:15 pm I don't want Vital again for next month. Vital doesn't work on my computer. Obviously i haven't tried Vital yet, and i'm new to Osc, so i don't really understand what the excitement about Vital is.
However, it is also true.
What is also true?
I'm sorry, I mean, it's also fair to take that point of view into account. But the translator decided that fair and true are synonyms, and I missed this error.
P.S. I don't know English very well, so sometimes I make such mistakes.
Ok! :)

I'm gonna start on something tonight and seeeeee if I can get anything resembling presentable by the deadline. It'll be my first entry into one of these, looks like fun!

Never made a song using only one synth and I typically don't program my own drum sounds (so the presets in the thread might come in handy!).

Is there info on next month’s synth anywhere? Apologies if this is the wrong thread in which to ask, btw.

This info won’t be released until 1st January, depending on where you live, so europe it’s normally evening time :tu:

Well, I had great fun with Vital.

Not sure if it was reciprocated.

DAW: Ableton Live

Vital x44 of which 20 were vocal tracks

Almost all the effects were in Vital but I had some busses set up with
Pro C2
Pro Q3
Trackspacer
plus a bit of send to Live's Hybrid Reverb from the drums

And Pan-man on some of the SFX tracks.

I thought I would participate anytime soon. But with commercial plugins it is really neat. Finally an OSC where i can use volumeshaper5.
Looking forward to your awesome track using Volumeshaper 5!

You'll Love it ! ;)

... and here is my contribution for the "Vital challenge" :wheee:
I didn't expect to finish my track in time, because I enjoyed to noodle around with this incredible synth. Thanks to Matt Tytel, what an awesome job :hail:

DAW: Cubase Elements
22 instances of Vital (it was the limit for my cpu)
Cubase FX:
Roomworks (reverb)
Compressor
PingPongDelay

other FX:
Valhalla Supermassive
SanfordBassTightener

Most of the sounds are created from scratch, some are tweaked presets (in the vital forum you can get tons of it) and finally I used this wonderful Photonic/Jasinski-Piano ... thanks for that :tu:
