Are there any must haves in the PSP $20 sale? The only PSP plugin I have is E27 and I got that for its air band instead of getting the PA Maag EQ.

Most of the good stuff isn’t in the sale, but N20 is a low cpu multi fx with some fun/silly presets and for ambient the multi tap delay, PSP 608, can produce some interesting textures when coupled with a spacey reverb. I’ve never tried the compressors etc because I have IK T-RackS 5 and a load of other similar plugins already.

The 608MD still pops up on "best delay" lists occasionally, especially "best multi-tap delay" lists.

I've heard L'otary2 is excellent.

I suspect all of them are pretty great at what they do, but "must-have" is a pretty high bar these days...

It's just that I don't like these huge sample collections like KONTAKT Full or Sampletank or whatever but I'd like to have a slimmer alternative without bringing my hard disk to burst with tons of samples. (Tricky Loop's my name, not Terabyte Loops.)

that depends on how many libraries you have, not what sampler you use.
you may be able to find a kontakt 5 2nd hand license for a good price here

Has anyone compared the new TDR Molot GE compressor directly with Presswerk? Disregarding the NKS feature of Presswerk for the sake of comparison, can Molot cover a lot of the sonic range of Presswerk?
