Having a problem where Waveform Free will load 3rd party VST2's and VST3's (64 bit) just fine for one session, but when the project is closed and reopened the plugins can no longer be loaded.
Other times the plugins will load but their settings from the last session aren't saved.
So far it's happened with the following plugins:
Valhalla Supermassive
Vital Synth
Klanghelm MJUC jr. Compressor
It's frustrating because I've been enjoying this program otherwise but it doesn't come with many included plugins or instruments so this is going to force me to another DAW if I can't get it figured out.

hi,
Collective and Subtractive how to choose a piano or other preset. how do i open the next session not saved,
and must look for what the choice was....
if you choose a piano or guitar preset opening the second times Collective or Subtractive
must remain the same preset.
Thanks

@zggong, Can't speak for Vital Synth but Valhalla Supermassive and Klanghelm MJUC jr. Compressor are fine here. The error message you have might be thrown if you have moved (or deleted) the plugin .dll files. If you go to Plugins on the Settings tab and right click on say Supermassive, can you access the containing folder? If not it's been moved/deleted.

I've been using Vital and Supermassive without any problems on Windows10. What have you tried so far to solve the problem or track down the reason?
One thing I would suggest trying is to turn off your antivirus. Another is to run disk diagnostics. Something is blocking Waveform from being able to load the plugins. That's not a normal error, even for plugins that conflict with Waveform.
Please note that all we have to go on is Waveform (no version) + plugin (no version) + error. It's not an error I'm familiar with and I don't even know which OS you're running on. The more information you provide, the greater the chance someone will be able to help.

Surely there must be consensus by now...
