Not saying the plugins suck, it's their creators. Haven't updated jack in years now. They're in the same sinking boat with Soundtoys and Lexicon. Until their stuff completely breaks, they'll always find suckers during sales.

VST Buzz has Sample Fuel’s “Pad Motion 3.0” on sale for 39 pounds (about $53 right now). It is a library for Halion Sonic SE. I own a license for Halion 6 already.
Does anyone own this library? Other than the fact it is a scripted library for Halion Sonic 3 SE (free version of Halion Sonic 3), the library appears to function essentially as a stand-alone multi-layer synth running inside Halion Sonic with an insane quantity of presets and features. It is mostly a granular and wavetable library, and I know already that Steinberg’s granular engine is great. What I want to know is what is the quality of the library and what us your experience working with it?

Midnight is technically usually considered the next day, so does "until midnight January 1st" mean it can't be used January 1st? Or is this the more colloquial sense of "midnight" which would mean it can no longer be used starting January 2nd?Insanelysane wrote: Wed Dec 30, 2020 7:20 pm Best Service offering another discount code - Save €20 on each purchase from €99 until midnight January 1st. yeah, I hear you. Having 1000 options sounds like a good idea, but it can slow me down during the creation process. I'm using my DAW's plugin manager to hide all the junk I never use and categorize the stuff I do use. I also need a vacation from sales forums, but FOMO brings me back.Gribs wrote: Mon Dec 28, 2020 12:25 amFor me it plugins are now similar to hardware where I have to physically make room for something new, usually by selling something old. I am out of “something old” that I want to sell. Something new has to be really exciting to me to get me to buy it. There is plenty of room for new plugins on my drives, but it is browser and mental clutter that needs to get cleaned up.monomox wrote: Sat Dec 26, 2020 5:36 pm got bx_boom or whatever is called. But this plugin chase is getting old, I'm thinking to somehow linking getting new plugins releasing tracks... like, no new plugins--free or otherwise--until I release my next track, you know what I'm saying?

I have always interpreted this statement as: the moment it becomes January 1st. (i.e.) "until [no later than] midnight January 1st".Ou_Tis wrote: Wed Dec 30, 2020 7:27 pmMidnight is technically usually considered the next day, so does "until midnight January 1st" mean it can't be used January 1st? I would think that because its a Happy New Years voucher It'll be valid until end of day on Jan 1st in Germany, so if you live in Australia like me that'll mean you have until 2nd of Jan daytime to use the voucher. Probably shouldn't push this theory and just buy today though, right?Ou_Tis wrote: Wed Dec 30, 2020 7:27 pmMidnight is technically usually considered the next day, so does "until midnight January 1st" mean it can't be used January 1st? Does anyone have any opinion on Wave Alchemy's Drumvolution and Revoluliton Kontakt libraries? I remember reading them being quite resource intensive. How bad is it?
I have 32GB RAM, so I should be covered on that front but unsure if my trusty old Core i7 2600K is up for the task.
