how are you guys turning on and off the crossover band modulation, and why can"t i find it? this would seem to be something that should be obvious. It's not the crossover type doing it, and it's not assigned as a modulator. It's also not a simple on/off switch. i give. all i want to do is turn on and off the crossover modulation.

If you want to the crossover line to be moved back and forth within the frequency spectrum, then you need to assign it to a modulator. Choose one of the modulators, click learn and move the crossover line back and forth. Is this what you are searching for?

Thanks, I'm trying to get it to STOP going back and forth. I tried clearing all the modulators and the crossovers still swing back and forth as if by an envelope follower. It does seem to be a type of crossover, and it doesn't seem to have an easy way to de-modulate them. which leaves me scratching my head.

There are many presets, but I'm playing with the MBgranular one in particular. I suppose it could be a side chaining event by some smart ass preset maker.... which means i would have to track things down, and tbh, most of the presets do this somehow, so it must be something I've overlooked all day. I have watched several videos, that don't mention the crossover automation. I have deleted all the modulators.

until you play something through it. then it follows the signal still. at least, it does on my perfectly normal pc set up.
i am deleting/clearing all modulations. the crossovers will hold still until i play a note through it, and then the crossovers move back and forth with the signal, like an envelope follower. i figured clearing modulations would take care of it.

Ah ok. I retested with audio going through it, and also playing a synth through. Still it stops modulating when I disable Mod 1 as in my screen capture above. You wrote you are playing a note? Is that midi? Anything assigned in the MIDI settings pages?

first, the bypass switches on the modulators are no longer available in the newest version. so i have to delete them, but i am unsure about the midi mappings... i haven't mapped anything intentionally. i'll dig around a little.

i don't see anything mapped in reaper, and i haven't mapped anything. i just loaded up lush 101 and put this thing behind it, and it's driving me batty at this point. where is this modulation coming from? if i load a default it doesn't do it. it's just with the presets.

Sorry, I must not be understanding what's happening for you. Can you post a screen capture or a screenshot and do a copy/paste of the preset code?Dasheesh wrote: Tue Jan 05, 2021 11:57 am first, the bypass switches on the modulators are no longer available in the newest version. so i have to delete them
I'm using version 14.15. I must not be understanding correctly because it's hard for me to imagine that the bypass switches could be removed, and also it is not possible to delete a modulator as far as I am interpreting things.

i rarely use social and am not active on the internet. version 14.15 does not have bypass switches in the new gui. it gives you the option of a manager, but no bypass switches. if you right click it gives a prompt of delete the modulation or reset the modulation etc... no bypass switch, i can delete all the modulations on said preset and the cross overs will stop modulating as long as no signal passes through, but as soon as i send a signal through again, it modulates with the audio signal. pretty simple.
