well one of the settings just goes on feedbacking forever so it’s probably a draw. I have and love Blackhole and supermassive too, but this manages to sound different.Harry_HH wrote: Mon Jan 04, 2021 12:06 pm Can the reverbation be more ”absolutely massive”, than created e.g. with the Eventide Blackhole?

"Ultra low space (5 Mo), super light CPU use (~0%) so you can use it on live sessions without latency"WatchTheGuitar wrote: Mon Jan 04, 2021 11:52 am Not sure if people know about this, but was just watching yesterday's GEOSynths show on YouTube and it mentioned a free reverb called Giant Verb that can create absolutely massive walls of 'verb. No installer, but on Windows I just created a folder for it under where all my VSTs go and it picked everything up fine.

Wonder how CPU compares with Valhalla Supermassive.

Blackhole doesn't seem to be thick enough or create enough perceived depth and spaciousness. In terms of being "absolutely massive" it doesn't compare favorably with B2 or Voxengo CRTIV Reverb (among others), at least from my testing (even bought a preset pack, still underwhelming given the hype). It can do some cool effects though, and the ribbon is fun.Harry_HH wrote: Mon Jan 04, 2021 12:06 pm Can the reverbation be more ”absolutely massive”, than created e.g. with the Eventide Blackhole?
"White Hole" might actually be a better name for it, since it does weird antigravity reverb. Or making "Hawking Radiation"....

I got mine today. It’s in the voucher section of my account. Most likely, they waited until their Christmas and New Year sale finished before sending them out.Dombaeb wrote: Tue Jan 05, 2021 9:44 am Did anybody receive a UVI loyalty voucher this year? last year it was sent on 2 of January.

Thank you! Mine there too. They don’t send the codes via email this year. Silent mode

Bought String Machines2, Synth Anthology3, Beatbox Anthology2, DrumDesigner, Shade and 2 Falcon Expansions last year. What do you need to do to get these?

The voucher value is calculated from the amount you spent last year. You won't receive it just by the fact you have UVI plugins.

But not much use for it, while the loyalty voucher wasn’t overlapping the season sale.
Seems like I’m not loyal anymore...

Took me a minute to find it, found it under "Vouchers" in
https://www.uvi.net/en/my-account
(assuming your language is English)
€60 for me, not too shabby. Not sure if it expires or not.
Edit: Oh it does, Feb 1st. Damn. Oh well, maybe will pick up some Falcon expansions, but I'll give it a few weeks in case they put something on sale.

While I'm not 100% sure, I believe the UVI loyalty voucher is based on products purchased directly through the UVI website itself.
Anyone only purchase items through resellers and received a loyalty voucher?

Same as IK, no VAT anymore. If that's the case long term, then I guess that's good for my wallet. I would think though that if you buy a hardware device from IK (eg Axe I/O) then although you won't pay VAT on it when you buy it, Fedex will claim the VAT when it comes in to the UK. But software... who knows what's happening there.Digivolt wrote: Mon Jan 04, 2021 1:09 pmMost likely, the new rules mean suppliers "should" charge vat on anything upto £139 after that it's up to the person buying to pay the taxes on import or at least that's how I understand it, it seems abit of a mess at the momentramseysounds wrote: Mon Jan 04, 2021 10:17 am Plugin Alliance have stopped charging vat for UK customers. I just checked again in case PA had updated their systems but no, still no VAT for me. It did mean that I bought both the Engl Savage and the Fuchs Overdrive for about £14.50 each which was quite nice.
A bit fried in the higher freqs
