Hi folks,
takes really long to start a reaper 6 project with mdrumreplacer. Seems like it’s searching for the content. Content is on a ssd.
Any hints how to avoid this?

Don’t have an answer, but I’m using MDR in Reaper 6 (newest version) and it’s loading fast.

Well, it's loading near instantly here. Note that it certainly needs to load the content, but it does not search for it or anything. It also loads all the plugins inside. NOTE! If you have 10 equalizers in it, imagine it is loading additional 10 plugins!

I’m just using two instances of mdrumreplacer with zero plugins inside. Sometimes it’s starts fast, but mostly takes until two minutes. Have to make a video cause it’s really annoying.

How about an antivirus?

That could indeed mean some antivirus/antimalvare, or you have some situation with your SSD.
