this, i think because i feel so good listening to my music, i want other people to feel it, you know?

I think the world would be a wonderful place if people liked all the same music as me but I learned a long time ago that almost nobody does. Some of my friends like some of the music I like, other friends might be into another aspect of it, but the only person I have ever known in my life with truly similar musical tastes to me is my bandmate. There was a time, in the late 70s and early 80s, when there was a lot of music in the charts that I also really liked - Devo, Wall of Voodoo, Tubeway Army, Simple Minds, etc. - but those days are long gone and the diversity that was once the strength of the music industry has all but disappeared now. So I accept that very few people have a framework within which to place my music, so I don't even bother any more.
