Don't feel bad. As told I didn't realize that they have changed that, even when using that feature in 11antic604 wrote: Sun Jan 10, 2021 10:16 amOh, OK. They are in proper sequence in Live 10 too.antic604 wrote: Sun Jan 10, 2021 9:44 am I'm talking about this, where you see consecutive clips on track in editor below. Before 11 you could only see one clip, or 2+ clips OVERLAID on each other, but now they're displayed in proper sequence:
Overlaid? That's not possible.
You may confuse it with selecting clips from different tracks in the same selection.
That also has been improved by the way.

No, not really.Rivanni wrote: Sun Jan 10, 2021 12:30 pmYou may confuse it with selecting clips from different tracks in the same selection.
I just wasn't aware v10 could already display consecutive clips. It's actually not mentioned in their tutorial videos or User Manual - the former focuses on Session View only, the latter on editing clips from (up to eight) different tracks:
https://www.ableton.com/en/manual/editi ... ip-editing
In most DAWs when you double-click a MIDI clip, you can scroll to left or right and other clips - from the same track - will be available for editing there. It hasn't occured to me one needs to select 2+ clips (from the same track) in Live for this to work, although it makes sense in hindsight.
Again, good they're developing this further. Hopefully editing audio in Session View is coming, too.
BTW, did any of the betas after #19 added an icon/button on track showing that it contains comping takes? I can't see it mentioned in release notes?

Just realized the Spitfire samples (piano, string and brass quartet) are available for download.
I guess we'll soon see the release, that has been the last of the missing things in the 'What's in the current Beta?' checklist if I'm not mistaken.

You should only need to check the 'sync' button in the MIDI preferences and the 'Ext' button in the upper left corner. But I never tried that.electro wrote: Sun Jan 17, 2021 4:35 pm Does anyone here know anything about slaving Live to incoming MIDI Clock signal from a standard Drum Machine such as TR-8?
