Technical questions about MCompressor

I have always used your plug-ins.
anyway, I am now trying to create a Compressor that has a RMS Detector like MCompressor.
However, the longer the RMS Length is, the more delay there will be before the release process starts, as shown in the image.



I understand the cause, but I don't know how to solve it.
How did you solve this problem?
(I may have implemented it wrong in the first place.)
Of course, if it's a trade secret, you don't have to answer.

I don't know how to design compressors but you could have the attack controlled by the RMS setting and the release controlled by a peak value.

That idea never occurred to me.
I'm not sure if it will behave the same as MCompressor, but I'll implement it that way.

You could duplicate the track, and set it ahead in time from the original (so it starts a few ms earlier). Then use it as a sidechain to trigger the compressor that's on the original track.
Might not be practical for you, so this is just an idea.

TDR Kotelnikov has a fun way of blending peak and RMS values too.
