Me too just beacuse FLS is so stable on my system as a host. Although I think I'll goto a strictly eXT/Reakor setup as my primarty tool once I get a new machine with better sound card.

Yes you missed something....it only works on selected notes.
Well, here I can honestly say it does not work like this for me... I can't get it do anything else than a fade for the whole clip including all the notes in it. I wonder it this is a bug (I'm using the newest beta)?
I have posted a bug report on this as I've confirmed it on the latest Beta myself. Also occurs with the Random - Velocity function (although that might be intended).

By the way Visa - I don't doubt there is much that Cubase SX can do a little or even alot better than eXT and I fully appreciate the reason you felt compelled to catalogue the shortcomings. Anyone who can read the thread would see that.

But just keep on looking at eXT's midi editing critically and posting on the eXT forum and hopefully we'll see steady improvements that bridge the gap somewhat.

I'm a midi editing freak myself (which is why I love Muzys) so I would like to see eXT develop in this area too.

:dog: I stand corrected....my brain was still on controller lanes....I thought you were refering to the velocity scaling arrows in the controller lanes. The composer does affect the whole clip. You could just Alt-click to split the clip and apply the fade, then Ctrl-G to glue them back together.

Brilliant idea.

Now, is there any doubt the eXT will ultimatly rival all others when it comes to MIDI editing??
Muzys, FLS, Cubase... who else is there?

Point is: There's more than 1 way to do it in eXT. ;)
