As expected this Tyrs had no real answer but like a real flip-flopper he change his "knowledge" and opinion (nobody asked for) about this topic with every new post.
A real hero!

the "bug" that still exists 3 years later even after a redesign of the websiteMeldaProduction wrote: Mon Jan 13, 2020 9:53 pm To explain anyways - we cannot control which price you buy it from resellers, most likely it is in actions, so as far as we are concerned, it's 50% off, that's why the policy is like this. And don't even get me started in how much we actually get from that... World isn't a fair place, someone always get worse treatment, that's just how it is. This way customers that buy from us directly may be in a better situation, your way customers that buy from resellers would be in a better situation. Guess which we chose...

Are you seriously suggesting that Melda targets poor mladi personally and everyone else who buys from resellers is getting their upgrades cheaper?Gregorius wrote: Sat Jan 16, 2021 1:43 pm the "bug" that still exists 3 years later even after a redesign of the website
Edit: madi's claiming he's getting like 5% instead of 50% percent. Big difference here.
If you want to complain about the 50%, fine. Fair enough. You don't have to like it. Just don't buy Melda.

I'm saying the message from melda was clear: buy in our shop, not via reseller - which is not a bug, but intended. I also think if there would have been interest in solving this, a simple test account on the website with the same products added could have been created by the web dev to verify this issue exists. That it still can be reproduced shows there was no interest in solving this. And I think I remember upgrade prices were issues not only once here.Held wrote: Sat Jan 16, 2021 3:27 pmAre you seriously suggesting that Melda targets poor mladi personally and everyone else who buys from resellers is getting their upgrades cheaper?Gregorius wrote: Sat Jan 16, 2021 1:43 pm the "bug" that still exists 3 years later even after a redesign of the website

I agree though - in the beginning further contact with melda surely would have been another step into the right direction. On the other hand accepting that something is wrong and users should be warned about would also have been the right way. Now I think it was the right thing to keep it publicly to not solve it for one guy specifically but for more people which run into this as it seems more of a strategic issue than a bug.
I marked something in your quote what I think is the whole point and I totally agree with. Why has this topic been up lately? Because users said they now won't buy anything here, but then other users jumped in because they were not pleased by it. Just let customers decide with their money.

Indeed that's not a bug, but Melda's politics, which you accept or not. The price this guy mladi needs to pay seems to be wrongly calculated and he should report to the support team, if he would be interested to get clarity. This was suggested to him several times, but well... if you have nothing better do do, then you can check for old posts in this thread, where it was suggested to him several times.Gregorius wrote: Sat Jan 16, 2021 3:42 pm

@Gregorius
We're talking about two different things here. There's Melda's upgrade policy that's debatable, and then there are madi's outlandish claims which are either lies or a bug that could be fixed with a quick email to support.
And who else is running into this bug? Can you link to any posts from people who have the same issue? If it's a widespread issue as you claim, then there should be more people talking about it.
You say it can be reproduced. How did you do it? We don't even know which of the products in the MEssentialsFXBundle madi doesn't own.
iLok doesn't work on my system. So I should go around and warn people to never buy products using iLok because it's a scam and is broken? I'm sure no one would argue with me on that because they aren't fanboys.
Again, the upgrade policy isn't the topic here, it's madi's weird exception that he tries to present as the rule.

Sure, or by the web dev just recreating the issue with his account. Do you think it's impossible for them to list all users to which this pattern of 1 plugin missing for a bundle could apply? Or is it impossible to just switch out plugins to test if this issue upholds maybe only for certain situations? It isn't. These can or should even be automated unit tests.Held wrote: Sat Jan 16, 2021 3:52 pm ...and then there are madi's outlandish claims which are either lies or a bug that could be fixed with a quick email to support.
I more meant that it still exists as we can see from mladis updated 1st post and recently added screenshot.Held wrote: Sat Jan 16, 2021 3:52 pm You say it can be reproduced. How did you do it? We don't even know which of the products in the MEssentialsFXBundle madi doesn't own.
I'd say bad example, because that is exactly what happens regularlyHeld wrote: Sat Jan 16, 2021 3:52 pm iLok doesn't work on my system. So I should go around and warn people to never buy products using iLok because it's a scam and is broken?
Anyways my conclusion was: there could have been done more from either side. May it be the support contact or on the other side a simple test from the web dev. This topic is 3 years old but it seems nothing has been changed. mladi obviously followed your advise and did not buy in more and so will more, that's the reason it came up again. Peace out.

Why would any developer go through the trouble if the user can't be bothered to send an email with his account data. At the moment, he's the only person this has happened to.Gregorius wrote: Sat Jan 16, 2021 4:16 pmSure, or by the web dev just recreating the issue with his account. And he still hasn't bothered to put in the minimal effort to solve the issue while putting a lot of effort into annoying people. What a great guyGregorius wrote: Sat Jan 16, 2021 4:16 pmI more meant that it still exists as we can see from mladis updated 1st post and recently added screenshot.Held wrote: Sat Jan 16, 2021 3:52 pm You say it can be reproduced. How is a topic that was created on Tue Dec 24, 2019 10:00 am 3 years old. Your attention to detail is not very good, and I'm not really interested in having a discussion where people simply make stuff up. So please pay more attentionGregorius wrote: Sat Jan 16, 2021 4:16 pm

Don't believe everything you read simply because it supports your point. If they can't get simple things like dates right, maybe they are wrong about a lot of other stuff too.Gregorius wrote: Sat Jan 16, 2021 4:36 pmSorry, my fault. You seem to live in a fantasy world where devs don't close bug reports all the time because they couldn't reproduce the issue. I doubt the money madi spend would be worth the time to hunt some obscure bug that only he seems to see.Gregorius wrote: Sat Jan 16, 2021 4:36 pm But great to see we reduced the main issue to a dateDoesn't change my statement. If a dev expects it to be a bug, the very first thing to try is confirming it. If that already is a hurdle, the issue doesn't seem to be interesting enough for the dev and you just tolerate it could be happening to others too. Btw. I also read that you and mladi seem to have personal issues which is why I take all what's written with a grain of salt.
I don't have a personal issue with madi, though. If he contacts support and it turns out he was targeted maliciously, I'll be on his side, although not very enthusiastically.

The only liar here are you Held! Shame on you, you little sock puppet!
..and before you allude other people about their attention to detail i already posted which plugin of the MEssentialsFXBundle i doesn't own but you still think i haven't. So that say much about your attention to detail.
Also i don't think that this is a bug this is on purpose and like Gregorius pointed out there are good reasons to bring this to the public. I see that the whole topic must hurt you very much and you try everything to destroy the facts and put the blame on me, you even call me a liar you little fanboi but it won't work. The facts are obvious and pretty clear.
Melda shows not much interest here about solving this "serious bug". I guess i know why. Now move on you little fanboi or ask Vojtech to send you a few pennies for your effort!

Until you don't show us the answer from the Melda support (which as everyone can guess you never contacted), you are simply unreliable. There is no excuse and your only weapon is isulting people. Guess this is called trolling
