Depends on the scenario, but it can be lower or higher:
https://www.native-instruments.com/en/s ... s/pricing/
There are 3 examples at the bottom of the page.
Looks like it's $1,000 upfront per product and an additional fee to generate the serial numbers based on the MSRP with a minimum order of 100 serial numbers per product.
While it's convenient, there's certainly an upfront cost that could get prohibitive, especially if the VI doesn't sell well early on or if you have a low-priced VI, especially with that $1,000 encoding fee and minimum 100 serial numbers.

yes, i've been waiting for a good dynamic panner. demoed it last night, it's not as versatile as i first thought, for $40... but a much better interface and sounds better than the X plugin.fairlyclose wrote: Wed Jan 13, 2021 4:56 pm Anyone thinking of this? ? Looks very well thought out design

I tried it in some good headphones, but it really wasn't as good as i hoped.
not sure how to put my finger on it.
I'll demo again tonight, i'd be interested to listen on some speakers but i'm stuck producing on a mono speaker for now

Yes, it' exactly like this. That's the reason why most small/indie developers like me and many others release stuff for Kontakt "Full" only...I think one could afford the % fee on each serial but the $1000 upfront is way too much for us (and yes, I understand NI has some costs involved and you get much more exposure and so on)

I bought it. I think it not so much as an obvious effect but better and more subtle. Like a great reverb. But have only had it for a few hours, so I might change my mind. Interesting. I`m not sure what to make of this, nor exactly how I`d use it practically. But it`s kinda cool when I`m just noodling around. Randomizing is fun too. Need more time to mess with it on various recordings I have. I feel like I`ve only seen a fraction of what it can do, so.. onwards I noodle!fairlyclose wrote: Thu Jan 14, 2021 8:32 amI bought it. Does anyone know if there are any distinctive advantages/differences of using Toontrack EZX sound expansions in Superior Drummer 3 instead of EZdrummer 2?

Don’t think so. Maybe a tad more tweakability in SD3 with ability to layer samples, more mixing options like kit room bleed in a mixed kit etc, but that’s nothing intrinsic to the expansions themselves.LoveEnigma18 wrote: Sun Jan 17, 2021 10:30 am Does anyone know if there are any distinctive advantages/differences of using Toontrack EZX sound expansions in Superior Drummer 3 instead of EZdrummer 2?
The advantages of SD3 are only really noticeable on SDX expansions or the factory kits.
